I want to say Hell yes!! But I guess thats inappropriate.

This show has had its ups and downs, but this episode is a great starting point to make the plot have some epic turns. I definitely recommend revisiting if you gave up on this show somewhere throughout the season like I almost did

TV's come a long way since Perry Mason!

Warning: Spoilers
Not sure what the really bad reviews are about. There is a bit too much shrieking from the kids but other than that I really like the show.

The leads do a great job with delicate material. Some characters are extremely religious, some not at all. But they have to work together to reach a resolution to each situation.

**Possible Spoiler** The show is actually not that focused on religion. It makes references but overall the focus is on how good people are not without evil and evil people are not without good.

In an even broader sense, they seem to be alluding to the possiblity that while we believe there is a heaven and a hell, they could possibly be one and the same. At least that's what I'm getting so far.

Worth viewing a few episodes to see what you think. I'm looking forward to season 2.

Good finale.

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what a finale. I'm...immensely satisfied. It was so good.

So now, we have confirmation that the supernatural is real, right? At least to a certain extent. David had an actual vision that could've very well been from God, and not a drug-induced vision.

Depending on how you look at it, I guess his drug-induced visions could've been from God as well, and the drug-induced part just acted as a plot device to make you uncertain, for there to be a possibility of it going either way.

Then there's Kristen, who was implied to have killed Orson, implied. We never saw it happen, but it probably was her. Only if it was, it wasn't, as the ending gave more credibility to the supernatural being real on top of David's real vision, among other things throughout the show, with a crucifix burning an imprint on her hand, suggesting that she's possessed. I don't see how that can be explained and played off as not being supernatural.

Even more so, I don't see how people can still be uncertain whether or not the supernatural is real, after watching this episode.

At the very least, the writers could still go the ambiguous route, in the second season, instead of going the supernatural route completely and embracing it, in the sense that there will still be occurrences that won't be downright supernatural, or in a better-worded sense, occurrences with open-ended conclusions.

Evil is not a human construct Warning: Spoilers
Evil is an entity that exists to serve itself. And destroy others. We see it every day. People that do harm for no reason that we are able to understand.. You know it when you see it. Just like you know good. When someone stretches out a hand to someone in need. When someone helps to feed or house someone. When emotional support is offered. Is Evil supernatural? We don't really know. Does it matter? This show gives you a chance to form your own opinion. I think that the children are the best part of the series. I hope that they don't limit their involvement. Seeing things through the eyes of the innocent, as well as those of the jaded gives us a full spectrum. The noise that they make is the joy of being alive, and the time that their mother spends with them is the happiness of love. Season two returns next month. I am excited to be here to see what will happen. I think it's the best series on television. Watch it with an open mind.

Evil exists but...
JasonSterling2931 January 2020
I really like this show I grew up someone religious and went to church and even got baptized at 13/14. I regret getting baptized. If you are skeptical about Christianity or religion on a whole this is a show for you. This episode opened my eyes further about evil but evil in the form of human activity and human activity alone. A mass shot isn't controlled by the devil, a suicide bomber isn't controlled by the devil and Martin Shkreli is an evil man but is he controlled by the devil? I don't believe in satanism as it relates to 'evil powers'. There is no power from hell that influences people.

How could it end there?
garabedian12316 October 2020
That was not a cliff hanger or anything. It felt like the middle of an episode that was in the middle of the season. And it just poof...ends. It made no sense for Kristen to get burned like that..And i really wanted to see more.

RSM FERTILITY!!!!
wandernn1-81-6832744 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I Like the opening here, We start out with Kirsten revisiting her dreams from EP1, about George the demon, and LARUE..... Good Funny stuff how tough she is now in her dreams.

Then she sends the kids to school... LOL Larue is standing out front of her house, to 'make peace'. Kirsten reports him as checking out the schoolgirls and touching himself, LOL,, good stuff there.

And then the Mother who swears she's carrying a possessed male fetus. That was pretty good with the Cross and Prayer on the pregnant tummy.

+1 Star for the opening sequence!!!

Townsend is still continuing his courtship of Sheryl, Kirsten's mom. And Kirsten told her she needs to stay away from her family while she's seeing Townsend.

Ben the Magnificent and David track down RSM Facility.

So now we have a major suspect to investigate, RSM.

Sheryl goes back to Kirstens House to ask Kirsten to accept her marriage to Townsend. Yeah....Right....

And Kirsten gets a phone call that Larue is dead. Someone killed Larue. Gee, who could have done that????

And that's the wrap.

Good End to S1
gregoryroman-8863531 January 2020
Good cliffhanger ending. I binge watched most of this first season and found it entertaining but meandering. I think the writers and producers would be wise to keep focused on one or two solid story lines versus a shot-gun approach. Trust me, there's a lot to work with, and quality always matters...quantity not so much. To me, Kristen & Ben really stood out in S1, and I think the show would get much better if David found a way to shed his civilian look and became more of a Cleric. The way this show is trending, he's going to need God on his side 24/7.

Descending into madness
Calicodreamin15 October 2020
A valiant effort from the writers to tie together all the complete randomness that was season one.

Warning: Spoilers
There are so many places this show could go but doesn't.This episode was a step forward from the last one but not a big step. Please loose the devil as a beast crap. This was an intelligent show that is not so intelligent show anymore.

Shooting Blanks All The Way
panzerstein31 January 2020
Nothing supernatural happens most of the time. This show spends most of the time at court hearings.

Katja Herbers gets wise and has new locks and alarm system installed. Then she is so incredibly stupid that she gives keys to her annoying brats, and hijinks ensue thanks to the kids. All these kids are under 13, so it is legally child abuse that they are alone in the house at any time, but especially at night.

The evil characters are usually three steps ahead of Katja, Colters, and Akbar. This series is a soap opera about conflicted characters failing over and over again. Mike Colters is the only reason I watch. He deserves better.
