Mourinho or nothing
aleeward10 September 2020
You don't need to be a true football or Spurs fan to appreciate this fabulous insight into the goings on at N17's famous club. I'm not a Spurs fan, just to put it out there. (Man United if that matters)

Mourinho steals the show, but not because of his infamous nonchalant arrogance, but for the way he wears his heart on his sleeve and guides the team through a new era. The Mourinho we see in press conferences and post match interviews is replaced by a true passionate lover of the game. (where was this when he was at United?)

Daniel Levy also comes across well as he looks to convince the audience that he is not the money scrimping scrooge that many Spurs enthusiasts would have you believe.

All the negative reviews saying this is dull and boring should watch high octane American team documentaries if thats what they want as this is not meant to be an explosive expose to uncover dirty secrets and scandal.

The show somehow manages to portray the players as ordinary guys playing the sport they love. You almost forget that these are millionaire sports stars.

My only concern is that if Harry Kane gives those pre match team talks to the England players, it's no wonder our recent performances have been so flat.

An Honest Insight
johnfknight0231 August 2020
I've been looking forward to this series airing since it was first announced last year. I'm a season ticket holder and have been a Spurs fan since the late 60's. This gives you a true insight into what goes on behind the scenes at a top Premiership Football Club. You get to see who are the strong personalities in the dressing room and who carries the most influence. This was a strange season for many reasons, with a new manager and of course all of the injuries at key moments, not to mention COVID 19, and the four month break bought about by that. It's a must watch for any Tottenham Fan, but also for anybody interested in football, because what happened to my team that season could easily happen to yours. Can't wait for the next 3 episodes to be released next week.

Jose Mourinho is a Movie Star
furkanreha31 August 2020
What an incredible manager. To see his approach to his players is an incredible opportunity. Additionally, Tom Hardy did an excellent job, his voice is a good fit for the documentary. If you love football, you are gonna like it. If you love Jose Mourinho, you are gonna fall in love with it. In Jose We Trust!

Brilliant so far

It's amazing to see the 1 on 1 meetings between Mourinho & Levy/The players, stuff you never get to see on matchday. Watched all three episodes as soon as they came out. Can't wait for the rest.

Much better than I expected. Far superior to the Man City one from 2 seasons ago. Well done amazon and all involved.

Show is great, but Jose...
mihaelorehovec-571646 April 2021
This show perfectly shows how awful manager Jose is. All he does is tells 'We need to do this, we need to do that..." But he never tells the players how to achieve that. He doesn't give them inspiration, they have nothing to fight for, he doesn't know how to give inspiration.

City's was more detailed
yashdogra-073458 September 2020
City's was more detailed cuz it had way more of Pep's dressing room insights and speeches. This felt little scripted

Really great watch. Watched the first 3 episodes. Brilliant. Cannot wait to see the rest now . Really well made documentary and a fascinating insight into how Mourinho deals with his players and the day to day issues at the Club against a background of high intensity competition in the Premier League

Well crafted but overdramatic
pawelozieblowski8720 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
People compare It with Man City as benchmark. And the ingredients are there: craftsmanship, music and filmmaking, individual stories, personal dramas but you have to see the bigger picture here...which is the story of ordinary club who didn't even compete not to mention winning anything on the back of Man City who broke all the records and were one of the best PL teams in history...so there's no power in the story , not to mention that it doesn't really show the true side of the team and I suggest to look at players faces when the coach speaks to see it doesn't even come close to original All or Nothing...

'All or Nothing' is a rather grandiose description of Europa League qualification
Ruskington12 October 2020
Compared to it's Manchester City and Sunderland counterparts, this documentary is fairly lightweight and unenlightening. Instead of eye-opening behind-the-scenes footage we see a barrage of cliches and platitudes that are little more than an extended press conference. The only interesting takeaways were seeing that Mourinho has gone from 'Special One' to David Brent rather quickly and that Giovanni Lo Celso is one handsome fella. Other than that, not much to see here.

I'm a Wolves fan and I want one for my team.
alanpuzey21 September 2020
I greatly enjoyed the Manchester City series, and gave it 8.

I think the producers have improved it this time around and I give it 9. "Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner".

The magic of Mourinho arriving, the effect of covid-19 and the spectacular shots of Spurs' new stadium created a wonderful series.

I think the producers could make a long series based on these.

Very interesting to watch football behind the scenes
koshumbaevulan6 September 2020
I was sceptical when I heard that Amazon wanted to show Tottenham. I did not like that much the Manchester City All or Nothing. When I started watching this Tottenham I noticed the way they give the material was different from Manchester City. It was more detailed and I felt closer to the footballers and the manager. Mourinho is the star in this series. It was pleasure to watch his tactics and the talks he had with his team. I definitley liked this series.

Jose master class
lewy-094539 September 2020
Watching a great man motivator behind the scenes Is what makes this show. Fans unfortunately have only the the monosyllabic press conferences you see before and after games to build a picture of what a manager is. In this documentary you understand why Jose is so successful and also has a record other managers will only ever dream of. He is a simply one of the best managers in football in the present era - alongside Guardiola, Klopp and Ferguson. Great TV 👍

Good. But is there a version without Tom Hardy?
st-prm30 November 2020
I like Jose, but can't stand Hardy or his voice. Even I would dislike Russell Crowe (its the opposite), his work was really very good in another documentary. Here? Had to skip narration moments... Shame there is no 2nd version.

Courage, honesty, family, friendship!
sashaoctober24 November 2020
No, we didn't win a trophy, again, but we got even closer to our club and its people. Winning a trophy is an important matter but who we win it with is more important. This is a show about a team of friends that needed spurring to move forward. The status and the hype make it just that bit sweeter. I honestly learned a few things about life just by listening to Jose's off-pitch wisdom. I could recognise myself in Dele when Jose got real with him. I was inspired by Harry's leadership by example, and many other things. Thanks to the well crafted filmmaking the show hits just right. A very ambitious project that requires not only a great organisation but also a delicate approach to filming the events. Top editing makes the series flow in one big compelling story (which is unscripted).

The only thing I didn't understand is why they chose Tom Hardy to narrate if there's a whole bunch of actors/spurs-fans.

A Sequel needed.

Spurs being spursy and the pandemic
mats-berglund7514 March 2022
We all know how it ends. Spurs lose as is the custom in the club. The best part of this is not the football, it is the insight into how the pandemic struck and was handled by the club.

Is this a spurs promotional video?
ijsnckde9 September 2020
Skims over the Pochettino "saga" leading him to be sacked in the 1st 15 mins. Skims over most of the bad results, including getting beaten by a League 2 team in the league cup. The whole series is geared towards painting Mourinho, Levy & spurs in a positive manner. If this is a fly on the wall documentary, it's needs to be balanced. This definitely is not.

No glory game
peterbrady-1478231 August 2020
A real insight into the white Hart Lane still only comes from the book the glory game by hunter Davies. This TV glossy documentary tells you nothing. It should really be called the mourinho show.

Still 10 out of 10 for me because its all about my beloved spurs
