"The Sopranos" cast are all New Jersey icons now, but only one of them was before the series premiered. That was Steven Van Zandt, aka "Little Steven," of the E Street Band. Van Zandt is one of the band's guitarists, alongside Patti Scialfa, Nils Lofgren, and of course the Boss himself Bruce Springsteen. During their hiatus in the '90s, Van Zandt found a new gig on TV even though he had never acted before.
In 1997, Van Zandt gave a speech introducing The Rascals before they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. "The Sopranos" creator David Chase saw this routine and contacted Van Zandt about appearing on his show. Van Zandt had previously conceived of the character Silvio Dante, a former hitman turned club owner. So, they added the character to Tony Soprano's crew. Thanks to budget concerns, the luxurious '50s-style establishment that Van...

'Quarantine 2: Terminal' will be landing soon and a batch of new stills have arrived online. Quarantine was a fairly faithful Americanized adaptation of the Spanish horror hit [Rec], aside from the drawn out intro at the firehouse and the decision to replace the supernatural element with super rabies. While [Rec 2] is currently scaring audiences, the makers of Quarantine 2: Terminal have come up with their own ideas rather than just a sequel to a remake that would also be a remake of a sequel.
Lightning Entertainment wrapped production last week on the follow-up to Quarantine written and directed by John Pogue, the scribe responsible for Ghost Ship, the universally reviled Rollerball remake, and all three movies in The Skulls franchise, and boasting make-up effects courtesy of Rob Hall, whose work can also be seen in the first Quarantine as well as the remake of The Crazies.
