As the movie begins, we see Wade outside. Then it cuts inside to Laura putting some bananas into Michaels cereal (47 seconds into the movie). As the camera pans left we see the orange juice container in the bottom left of the frame already on the table. In the next shot, Wade is coming to the table and the orange juice is NOT on the table. Wade is carrying it in his hand and sets it down on the able.
Once Wade is in prison the first time he is able to talk to Laura, her hand holding the phone changes; her finger is on the phone then off, changing from scene to scene.
Towards the beginning of the movie as Wade is speaking to his Public Defender she mentions that the bail is set at $1M dollars and whether he had $1M dollars to put up as collateral. In reality he would only have to put up 10% which would have been $100,000.
When the CO asks his Sgt why the Lt hates Sampson so much, the Sgt explains it's because Sampson hit them in the face and gave everyone Hepatitis A.

Opposing prison gangs would never be allowed to share the same small recreation yard in an Administrative Segregation Unit. The only time this would even occur would be on the mainline population yard.
In the beginning of the movie John refers back to how his daughter would have been 27 at that time but by the tattoo calender on his arm she should have only been 22 or 23.
