Director Lindsey Hartley’s 2023 movie “Falling For A Killer,” not to be confused with 2020’s “Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer,” is a movie about a sociopath who kills rich women for insurance money until he meets his match in a dedicated prosecutor, Darcy Young (Olivia Buckle). Thomas (Johnathan Stoddard), a crazed killer who takes disrespect too seriously and kills way too carelessly, selects his next target to be the young and gullible Brea Young, the sister to Darcy, and things get complicated when Darcy arrives to meet the new fiancé. Lazy writing and poor direction make some tropes way too predictable, though Hartley tries something supposedly ‘new’ in the end. Here’s what happens in the movie:
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In ‘Falling For A Killer’?
Busy prosecutor Darcy Young comes back to her parent’s home to meet her younger sister Brea’s fiancé, Thomas Schure,...

Saloon Media, a Blue Ant Media company, and Bullrush Pictures, are collaborating on half-hour workplace comedy “Hospital Show.” The series is an adaptation of the popular YouTube series of the same name, created by actor, writer and director Adam Greydon Reid, the founder of Bullrush Pictures.
“Hospital Show” is about the actors who play television’s most respected doctors on the fictional hit primetime medical drama “Critical Condition.” These actors may dispense miracle cures on television, but beneath the gleaming smiles and spotless white coats is a raging fire of high school politics, power trips and puerile shenanigans.
The web series won awards at Stareable Fest Australia’s Afin, the Florence Film Awards, the Canadian Cinematography Awards and the Leo Awards. The short form series has now been picked up by the Roku Channel where it’s streaming in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Serial killer Ted Bundy began his killing streak more than 40 years ago. Through early arrests and a highly-publicized trial, he captivated America with his charm and "good looks," although that latter claim is debatable. From the detectives working the case to psychologists to newspaper journalists, everyone wanted to know why the man displayed such a blatant disregard for human life, particularly women's. Countless books and documentaries, including Netflix's 2019 release "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes" and "Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer," have tried to delve below the surface to understand what made one of the world's most notorious killers tick.

'Shiva Baby' is a darkly playful comedy of unease about a young bisexual woman grappling with tradition and independence. It tells the story of Danielle (Rachel Sennott), a college student on the verge of graduating who is faced with a series of increasingly awkward and humiliating encounters at a climactic day-long shiva, a Jewish gathering of friends and family during a time of mourning.
A highlight of 2020’s Toronto International Film Festival and featuring a standout lead performance from emerging actor-comedian Rachel Sennott, the acclaimed feature debut from writer-director Emma Seligman is bold, modern filmmaking at its most daring, hilarious and unforgettable. The film also stars Molly Gordon (Booksmart), Polly Draper, Fred Melamed and Dianna Agron. The music is composed by the eclectic composer and multi-instrumentalist Ariel Marx (Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer).

Netflix and Amazon Prime Video prefer to keep a tight lid on ratings data, doling out information in ways they see fit. Even Nielsen, which has been measuring Netflix and Amazon viewership for some time, has limited the amount of streaming data it shares with the public.
But Variety has obtained a recent Nielsen streaming report, for the week of March 2 to 8, which sheds more insight into viewer streaming habits — including stats for original programs, acquired fare and movies/specials at Netflix and original programs and movie/specials at Amazon.
Insiders have said that Nielsen numbers are pretty close to internal data — and Nielsen has been working on its streaming ratings methodology for some time for its Svod Content Ratings. Critics argue its numbers are still underrepresented because it only covers the U.S. and doesn’t include viewing on mobile devices or PCs.

Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that a trio of top stand-ups will have specials on the streaming service in January. “Broad City”co- creator and star Ilana Glazer is calling her debut solo special “The Planet Is Burning.” Rob Delaney, the BAFTA-winning creator and star of “Catastrophe,” is front and center with “Jackie.” And Canadian funnyman Russell Peters has dubbed his show “Deported.”
The first month of the year ends on a deeply serious note with the premiere of the documentary series “Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer,” which profiles the women who were seduced by this serial killer.
Also look for the premiere of the feature film “Troop Zero,” a heartwarming story of a group of elementary-school misfits who join forces to win a talent show. Among the adults in the cast are Emmy and Oscar winners Viola Davis and Allison Janney as well as Mike Epps and Jim Gaffigan.
