A bunch of jump scares and a tired plot
vasiln19 December 2019
A woman's cursed doll contains a ghost that kills her enemies.

Walk with Me has good production values, good acting, and it's not some bland, Disneyfied imitation of a horror movie. Anna Ng is pretty, in a mousey way. There's a sadistic child that's written and performed very well. So it has those things going for it.

Unfortunately, that's everything it has going for it.

WWM delivers about fifteen minutes of telegraphed jumps before bothering to advance anything like a plot. Maybe that's a good thing, because the plot is meager and unimaginative. WWM might have been better off without any plot.

Oh, and there's a twist. Maybe two twists. And they're dumb ones. One is the same predictable twist that's used everywhere. The other twist is that the movie lied to you, so it has to show you a bunch of scenes all over again *only different*. Hopefully, you'll just forget about the scenes it doesn't show you twice, the scenes that don't make any sense in light of the twist.

If you don't have any expectations and you're looking to kill some time, you could do worse. Hey, at least it's not direct-to-Amazon found-footage schlock.

On the other hand, you could also do a lot better.

A little bit of disturbing violence, and some fake violence against animals, if that bothers you.

Another generic horror movie
pablosiqueira27 November 2019
The main protagonist is a young woman that gets bullied everyday specially by her co-workers and her boss, but some supernatural things start to happen to these bad people and they are all connected to an old doll that the main protagonist can't get rid off. If you already saw Ringu,Ju on or The Tag Along you already know what to expect from this movie, it doesn't add anything new to this over saturated Asian horror genre that uses creepy crawling ghosts. Every creepy scene resembles another movie and most of the characters are uninteresting and forgettable like the whole movie. The only good thing about this movie is that it is short and not annoying, luckily there weren't too many loud noises and screaming. I don't recommend this movie, watch it only if you want to sleep.

Four prepared reversal, and clues
singingdalong5 February 2020
As for the four well-prepared reversal, the movie hid clues that viewers could reason with, and quite a few, throughout the scene, as if they were faithful to Ellery Quinn's full-scale mystery novel. Therefore, the movie is quite suitable for those who like mystery novels.
