This show is very entertaining

This show is outstanding. I attended the premiere and was simply amazed by the talent of the cast and staff. I was engaged throughout the whole time and left hoping for more episodes of this show in the future. If this show ends up on television I will personally be watching and don't expect to be the only one watching either. I think that what I enjoy about this show the most is that it commands respect and engages the audience through humor, important relative topics, and competent staff and direction. Also, I know what I am talking about when it comes to critiquing this show in technical terms and otherwise because I study film in college and when I saw this show, it was easily derived that the cast and staff are competent and willing to work well together and there is no doubt in my mind that this show can continue in it's to produce relative and important topics through and its entertaining medium. I look forward to this shows success.

Absolutely Amazing

This movie was absolutely amazing. The plot was attention grabbing and I was on the edge of my seat during the whole thing. I really hope that this movie can be made into a series because I feel that 30 minutes just wasn't enough and wish there would have been more. I have a niece who is 17 and can't wait for the movie to be available to purchase so I can show it to her and all her friends. Also, great job on the writing and directing of the movie. I really feel like kids watching it can relate to the content of the movie and the drama surrounding the different clicks at school. The actors/actresses did an amazing job, especially for being young themselves. Whoever did the casting really knew what they were doing. All and all, I would rate it a 12 out of 10!

Adina's Deck, Adina's Deck 2 & 3
kimmysmobilenotaryservic16 September 2007
This is a cute short film that is not only entertaining, but also educational. The quality of this film is remarkable! The actors and actresses are all very talented, because of this, the viewers can get a clear understanding of the message this film is trying to convey. A must see for anyone who plays (or works) in the "cyber-world"! Although it is geared toward young teens, as an adult, I found it quite entertaining (and eye-opening). I think this film can really help kids and adults to understand the seriousness of cyberbullying. Most people think that bullying can only be done face-to-face. This simply isn't true. With all of the new technology out there today, people are finding more and more ways to bully other people. Including bullying via the internet. Some people are resilient to this type of bullying - some people are not. This film gives a clear picture of different ways in which to deal with a cyberbully and hopefully will provide some much needed help to kids, parents, teachers, counselors, etc. I highly recommend this film and give it a 10 out of 10! MUST SEE THE NEXT TWO EPISODES... "The Case of the Plagarized Paper" and "The Case of the Online Crush". They are fantastic sequels to the original Adina's Deck...

great educational film for teens and pre-teens
kevinalphie16 September 2007
The subject of the film, Adina's Deck, cyberbullying, is an all-too-common and scary phenomenon that many children are forced to deal with on a daily basis in today's world. Studies have shown that cyberbullying is such a serious problem that it can cause depression, anxiety, and even suicide in some cases. For those who may not be familiar with the term, according to Wikipedia,"cyberbullying is the term used to refer to bullying and harassment by use of electronic devices through means of e-mail, instant messaging, text messaging, blogs, mobile phones, pagers and websites."

Adina's Deck has taken this provocative subject and turned it into an exciting mystery about four tech-savvy friends that have either been cyberbullied or have been cyberbullies themselves. When one of them, Syke, begins receiving threatening messages on a regular basis, her three best friends fear for her and all become "detectives" in trying to discover the identify of the perpetrator. The film teaches an extremely important lesson while at the same time keeping the viewer on the edge of his/her seat. I would highly recommend it not only for teens and pre-teens, but for the entire family.

Very timely, entertaining, high quality production
varnifarm16 September 2007
This smart film is extremely entertaining for kids as well as adults, and also manages to provide information to the viewer about the increasingly more common phenomenon of cyber bullying among young people. Everything about this production is top quality, from the script to the camera work, acting, editing, music, etc. The four main characters were introduced to the viewer as distinct and identifiable individuals. The actors are believable as their characters develop within the story line. The plot evolves into a "whodunit" with all the twists and turns of a detective novel. It leaves the viewer wondering whether the mystery will be solved. This is a must see for every middle school and/or high school student, as well as their parents, and everyone involved in education, including teachers, administrators, and counselors. Great story line in this first episode. It leaves the viewer wanting to see more. This production is about kids, and one of the many pressures kids face everyday among their peers, whether their parents and teachers know it or not. As technology advances, and digital communication grows through the internet, with instant messaging and personal web pages; and cellular phones, with text messaging and voice mail, kids need to learn how these methods of communication can cause severe consequences if misused. Adina's Deck has a unique way of pointing that out. This is a timely and excellent production, through and through.
