Baby Looney Tunes the most adult-oriented kids show Cartoon Network and Boomerang ever aired. The show was panned by both fans and critics alike, with it only lasting 2 season (making it a short-lived failure). The reason? It's far more vulgar and crass than the original Looney Tunes. While the original series is known for its radar passing, it was never as offensive and shocking as this spin-off, which featured "jokes" about animal abuse, annoying adults, and incredibly disturbing imagtry. While this is already bad, what drags the show down even further is its absolutely atrocious pacing, having incredibly long episodes that feel slower than even the worst episodes of the original series, killing whatever momentum the jokes had and making an already unfunny and crass adult comedy flat-out insufferable. This attempt at a revival buried any chance for preschool shows on the channel for over a decade, and even the inclusion of Sidekick and Scaredy Squirrel on there made people wary, partially due to the failure of BLT. It also destroyed both The Tickle U block admittedly, the other shows on the block didn't do very well either and Ocean Group VAs on Warner Brothers. They still continued to original Canadian IPs and Hasbro and Capcom shows. It wasn't until 2017 Cloudy W/ A Chance of Meatballs reboot & Season 3 of Scaredy Squirrel that CN completely stopped airing toddler aimed programs for four years until 2021's Cartoonito.
