Post-apocalyptic legacy
Ladiloque16 October 2021
The scenery feels underdeveloped: the dialogues, the photography and the music aren't enough to depict a believable world.

Acting and direction have ups and downs: while in some cases they bring this world alive in others they ruin the scene.

Very poignant conclusion to a story a little too slow and simple to become a classic.

Not bad but not really good either.

Primitive or postmodern era?

Given the surroundings where people looked like uncivilized and the things used spectacles, grenades, engine boats, clarity did lack.

I guess I failed to figure out what it is trying to convey...

hard to predict, post apocaltptic sci-fi

It's well written, it's well shot, played and with good music. What else do you want? Ghost Busters? Spiderman 14? What is sci-fi to you defines if you will like this movie or not. The story is original, unpredictable, minimalistic. It is shows you all the details very slowly and gradually, so it does not spoil it before the last minute. Definatelly worth the watch if you're a real sci-fi or cinema fan.

A new genius realisator is born

What impresses me is the originality of the film. Today's movies are so predictable, I can't remember the last time I was this interested in seeing a movie.

The style reminds me of new director Denis Villeneuve. I hope he continues on this path.
