- Lucius is shown sketching Fang after tricking him to get out of work. The camera cuts to behind Lucius and it's shown that he has drawn Fang's penis and testicles. The drawing is clearly seen from a close angle and is fairly graphic.
- Buttons can be seen naked, but only his behind is shown. The front of his body is not shown.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene where a man falls onto his sword (not shown). The sword goes through his eye and continues through his head. The body is shown a few times, but the ghost (sword and all) shows up several times to taunt Bonnet.
- There are a few pirate-plundering scenes with lots of fighting and loud noises, sometimes involving fire. In one of them, Stede is shown being hanged in the midst of it all and almost dying, though he is cut down.
