Really decent anime, I don't understand why it gets so much hate. Name another anime where the main character has a gun for a head. I don't mind the unreal engine CGI mixed in with the Anime. Yeah, the story isn't the greatest but the characters are cool. I am looking forward to season 3 sometime in 2022 or later.

To be honest this anime is really underrated, the plot is unique and the story is well written and has a sense of mystery , character are likable and they all have thier weighs on the story and every character introduced can change the direction of the story. i just want to mention that the anime may look confusing at first but everything will be explained later. so do your self a favor and give this anime a chance.

Everything about this show is uneven from the animation(yes, they have the gross cgi that distracts you) to character development (and cringey fan service) and more. The noir and serious scenes aren't too bad, but the jokes and fight scenes can take you out. If you have nothing to watch, give the first few episodes a shot, but there are way better anime and cyberpunk shows out there.

Great potential lies ahead. The show starts off as dbz and gradually transforms into One Piece and then into Ghost in the shell, let's see what the future beholds. A must watch!!!

Cons: -Animation quality is inconsistent at times. -Character & Story development is erratic. -Ham handed anti-capitalist message "could" have had an impact if it had been handled well, instead it's cartoonish and laughable. -Story relies heavily on Deus ex machina / DBZ "Power Up" moments, and the uber power/effect that unveils itself in one would have resolved previous episodes easily making previous near death brushes loose their meaning. -The Enemy/Foe in most episodes ends up being irredeemably foolish/stupid, and makes you wonder how they lived up to this point / became a critical henchman.

Comparisons to "Ghost in the Shell" aren't remotely accurate and degrade both the Original movie and series.

The series has so much potential, i hope there is a second season.

Just skip this waste anime. Main character is a fool and pervert. He is very very weak.

This is one seriously good anime, mixing serious topics and a bit of humor in there as well.

Only someone who hates anime in general would rate this gem negatively.

I seriously thought this anime didn't need jokes in this, they are so annoying and unfunny. I felt the anime was also too rushed by not giving us an idea on why protagonist is the way he is. People who will dislike this review may think that 2 episodes isn't enough to make up my mind but yeah literally I think I'm done watching just 2 episodes of this anime sorry......

This anime is something else, a story of a man with a gun for a head! Great pacing and an enjoyable twist of action and suspense. Starts off on a rather grim note, tossing you into Inui's world and doesn't explain much, but after the first few episodes things fall into place rather quickly. Pacing varies from episode to episode, but is slow enough for viewers to keep up while being fast enough to enjoy the explosive action scenes. The voice acting(English Dub) is amazing, especially love the voice acting for Juzo Inui(protagonist). The story is engaging and reflects on a world of extreme corporatism. The environments, and backgrounds are extremely well detailed, especially the lighting. Rooms, streets and objects blend well with each other. Animations are smooth but somewhat irregular, doors and vehicles have extremely smooth movements, but the animations on characters is 24 FPS-ish. Further, since the Extends use microphones to talk, mouth movements aren't present for such non-human characters and can be off-putting until you figure it out.

In my opinion the anime is great and should have get 10/10(dameon_green) till now this series is very good

It's great, in all honesty. Although I wish they had expanded more on some of the characters, as some of them seem to be important, I did not feel like it. The story is not the best, I'll admit that right now, but the world and the characters are nicely distinct enough to be placed into their category respectfully. Most characters feel fleshed out and are likeable.

The CGI is subjective for each viewer--- Personally, I did not mind it--- some might find it a deal breaker, or a leading cause to a "hard watch".

I find the world insanely cool--- despite the idea of "body extensions" not being a new concept--- they executed it well.
