Plot

A case has gone cold for 6 years. In the bottom of a river some divers make a gruesome discovery. Detectives work to solve the mystery of the skeleton found in the car. A dead dog holds a clue to his master's murder...in the DNA.

32 year old Christine Ann Elkins has gone missing. Police are sure she was murdered but they have no body to prove it. Then they find her car at the bottom of the Missouri River. 81 year old Daniel Schraeder is found beaten to death along with his dog in his home. The dog's DNA on the killer clinches the case.
