Sex & Nudity

  • A few shots of partially nude figures, but these are completely non-suggestive and areas such as the crotch (male and female) or breasts are not present or are obscured. However, this being a detective/mystery story, there are occasionally aspects of sexuality present in killing motives, but those aspects are not explored in depth.

Violence & Gore

  • A girls dead body is constantly seen in different situations such as a knife in the chest, hung from a tree, shot in the chest, upon many others.
  • Many people get sniped either it be a head shot or through the chest
  • A girl gets trapped in a barrel underground. People watch a live stream of her trying to survive until she is found
  • Many burnt corpses can be seen in several scenes
  • A severed arm can be seen by a man picking it up and taking a picture of it. He smiles at the destruction and aftermath of an explosion
  • One character gets blown up and away by a blast
  • One character gets crushed by falling debris
  • We see several characters with holes driven into their heads, very graphic
  • One character asphyxiate themselves with bed sheets tied to the front of a bed
  • A main part of the show involves catching murderers and serial killers, revealing different dead bodies that have had their face removed, been stabbed, tongue cut out, limb cut off, beatened badly, burned, etc. Throughout the show there are also many violent and bloody scenes involving shootings, drilling into heads, stabbings, fist fightings, wrist slitting, among others. These mentioned scenes are often shown in disturbing detailed for an anime and involve blood and gore.
  • There is a fight in one episode. The combatants are injured brutally and realistically, including the breaking of an arm shown graphically.

Profanity

  • In the English dub the f-word is used twice and other profanity is scattered throughout the episodes.
  • In the English sub (9anime) the F bomb is dropped more then a few times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The death of a young teenager is brought up fairly consistently. It's described in a visceral and realistic way, and it has traumatized one of the characters.
  • The decayed/mutilated corpses of people are shown semi-frequently, including multiple children.
