The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars continue to get bigger.
ABC has ordered new spinoffs for the 2017-18 television season from its two most popular reality franchises, the network announced Tuesday ahead of its Upfront presentation in New York City.
Going up against the Winter Olympics, ABC will debut The Bachelor Winter Games in February 2018, which will follow Bachelor and Bachelorette favorites (“from arch rivals to villains”) as they compete in winter-themed athletic challenges -- all while living together at a “luxurious” winter resort.

Of course, it being a Bachelor spinoff and all, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Bachelor and Bachelorette alums going head-to-head in the name of love!
Not to be outdone, Dancing With the Stars will bring a kid version of the celebrity dance competition, titled Dancing With the Stars Junior, scheduled for a spring 2018 launch.

Fox's broadcast of the BCS National Championship game dominated the ratings Monday night.
Meanwhile, NBC's American Gladiators made a successful transition to its regular Monday 8 p.m. slot, while another new unscripted entry, ABC's Dancing With the Stars spinoff "Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann," got off to a less promising start.
The BCS pregame and game, which saw LSU win their second championship, averaged a 7.6 rating/18 share among adults 18-49 and 21.6 million viewers overall between 8-11 p.m., according to early Nielsen estimates.
Airing against the BCS pregame/game on the East Coast, Gladiators (4.8/12, 10.9 million) was down a modest 19% from its big premiere Sunday and posted the best nonsports ratings for the night.
The rest of NBC's lineup didn't hold up that well. Following a Deal or No Deal (3.6/8, 10.7 million) at 9 p.m., the season premiere of drama Medium (3.3/8, 9.6 million) posted the series' lowest original Monday rating in 18-49.
ABC's two-hour premiere of Dance Wars averaged a 3.0/7 in 18-49 and 10.8 million viewers overall, down 48% from the most recent season premiere of Dancing With the Stars.
At 10 p.m., an original October Road (1.8/4, 5.0 million) finished behind all repeats on CBS.
