The best number 10 to play the game of rugby
grape425 August 2023
This is a really well filmed back story into the life of Dan Carter, but shows how down to earth he is but also goes into detail about the highs and lows about how he became the top scorer in rugby union of all time.

A classic for any kiwi to watch but also for anyone interested in the game of rugby and what it takes to achieve at the highest level despite the numerous set backs.

Carter is not only the highest scorer of all time but defined the role of a number 10 or flyhalf, it was not just about the excellent kicking but having an all-round running game and even try scorer. The film shows how he engages with people in a team sport but mainly with the All Blacks and how he created a legacy and a level that few if any will surpass.

One of a select few to win two world cups in rugby Carter is also the highest scorer for penalties and conversions of all time.

A humble likeable superstar.

Key people in rugby give their opinions including Richie McCaw, Steve Hansen, Wayne Smith, Robbie Deans, his wife Honor Carter and Jonny Wilkinson. To have Wilkinson there is a key as he is second on the all time list and he praises Carter the Perfect 10, his record stands for itself, a moving documentary.
