  [the van slips off the edge, but Superior Spider-Man manages to grab it before it falls. The family looks at him while he struggles to hold it up] 

  Van Driver : You-you saved us. You're a hero.

  Superior Spider-Man : [struggling]  I am no hero.

  [the police arrive] 

  Superior Spider-Man : Yes, I am quite impressive. Now quit gawking and save these innocents!

  [the cops lift the mother and girl out. The debris that Superior Spider-Man is holding onto breaks, causing him and the driver to fall] 

  Van Driver : No!

  [his face suddenly changes into Uncle Ben's]

  [the driver shares a warm embrace with his wife and daughter. The crowd cheers as Superior Spider-Man pulls himself up] 

  Superior Spider-Man : You are... welcome.

• Old Man : [after Superior Spider-Man saves the boy]  Spider-Man, you saved my grandson's life!

  Superior Spider-Man : I-I did?

  Cop 1 : [helps him up]  That was the bravest thing I've ever seen. Thank you, Spider-Man.

  Soccer Kid : My hero, Spider-Man.
