- A girl makes a joke about her father being a lolicon, to which he replies with a fantasy about the two of them getting married. He then quips, "Just kidding!"

- In some instances, characters are bleeped out not because they are cursing, but because they are saying the name of an anime they don't have permission to mention by name. Some viewers may not know that first hand.

- In an early episode a boy hits a another boy with a racket for discriminating his home life. this hit causes blood. soon after it goes to a flashback of the boy (the one who hit the other boy with the racket) was shown as a baby in his crib when his mother (who was obviously stressed and scared) poured boiling hot water on the baby's back causing the baby to scream violently.

- In a scene of episode 11, Kontana was on a page talking about breast sizes, and she pointed out Miyuki's breast when Kagamine thought Konata was talking about grades.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- One episode is rather emotional. It involves flashbacks and backstory behind Konata's mother who, in earlier episodes, is said to be dead. We see her mother deteriorating state in the flashbacks, including one instance of her sitting in a wheelchair. This whole scene may upset sensitive viewers.
