A good drama that focuses on character development. This aspect was interestingly portrayed. A boys relationship with his mother and her motherland of which he knows very little. I thought the script lacked a little direction.

No one can rob you from your sense of home

I wanted Viktorija's nostalgia to be satisfied, so I was pretty annoyed to see only post-socialist misery, corruption, and broken relations. I also thought, right, in America people are not like this, that's why she divorces her husband and jumps on the first flight home. They have bubble gum, it must be the heaven on earth. But then, at the very end, she and her son have a brief moment of piece on the Lithuanian shore and I got it. No one can rob you from your sense of home.
