First meeting these characters in TMPB, I actually liked them a lot more than the two leads there. But knowing this was a totally separate story, gave it a go once it was fully uploaded and translated here. What can I say, I like to binge watch. Though, absolutely beautiful costumes, CGI, and script. It got a 9 from me because it got off to (in my opinion) a slow start. I love the chemistry between the leads and the humor of practically every character. The main antagonist could have laid off on the "evil laughing" all the time as it was not convincing in the slightest. Wish there was a more rounded ending of our two leads as that seemed a bit rushed. But overall, I'm satisfied with this series and would recommend it to friends.

I remember how adoringly and epic was "the first part" about Ye Hua and Bai love story. Since I don't want to leave spoilers of that one here, all I'm going to say that that story is among my list of the greatest love stories I've read or saw. Right with Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, all of my fav Shakespeare stories, etc. I don't mind people saying I'm overreacting. I stick to my opinion.
Now we have this little gem with a tragic love that just needed to be developed. While the first part had more epic view of gods and goddesses, this one is more human. That's all I'm gonna say 'cause I seriously don't want to leave spoilers of this one too. Take apart the logic changes in storyline that had to be there, this is truly a second part to Eternal Love. Great performances by Don Hua Dijun and in general all the cast. A very special thanks for getting as many of the original cast as they did (what a treat to see Yang Mi reprising her role!). Watch it, first Eternal Love and then this sequel. Good times are ahead for you.

This was an incredible awesome drama, i really enjoyed every bit of it. The love chemistry between the male lead and the female lead was beyond my imagination. The everlasting love they have between them was really amazing. I really enjoyed this drama, it really blow my mind. Thanks to all that put it together.

This is a love story. I laughed, cried, fell in love and got heartbroken alongside the characters and I believe this is telling of how good the acting and plot of a drama is. As far as acting, CGI, soundtrack, plot, casting are concerned, this drama has it all. But like most cdramas, the editing towards the ending can be a nightmare especially if you know they cut some scenes. Would love to see the uncut version.

I wish they would make another one! I can't say enough good things about this show. I won't ruin anything for anyone that has not seen it. I must say I love fairytales and stories of gods and immortals and magic. This was so perfect! I adore the innocence of this show. I love that there was so much class and elegance. No nudity or swearing! I adore everything about this show! The clothes the culture. The acting was beyond amazing by the two main characters. So happy to see the continuance of some of the characters from eternal love. I cried during this show, I loved it. It makes you realize how magical life is! The writer of this is such a creative genius! It gives you a glimpse of lives of immortals and gods. I already know that I will rewatch this again and again. Everyone really did an amazing job on this show! During covid i have had more time to watch tv and I am so glad that I did so I could watch this show! This is one of those life changing shows! It makes you really think about your life and love! Just like the first one - eternal love! So many lessons of life in this movie! I really loved everything about this show! I love the values the loyal and dignity and how hard everyone works and trains etc! It makes you want to change your life! I can see why so many billions of people have watched both shows! I pray that you continue this series! I really adored how you kept the same characters and cast - great move on your part!

I've seen many Cdrama, Kdrama, Lakorn, Turkish dramas and ELOD stands out among my favorite! The main leads are awesome and what incredible chemistry! Vengo Gao as Dong Hua Di Jun is epic! No one can replace him! Diliraba as Bai Feng Jiu is full of sweetness! I can only praise this production and all the cast performance! Thank you for a wonderful drama! I recommend to all!

I absolutely adore the tale of Doug Hua and Feng Jiu. Please don't think of Eternal Love when watching Eternal Love of Dream, it's two different stories and you'll be confused. This story is actually based on the book with some changes. There are high moments of excitement and then it goes flat. What I didn't get from this series was the passion that the book delivered with these two lovers. There are important moments that could have been better.

I can't stop watching it again and again because it's too good. Very meaningful. I cried a river when I watched 5 last episodes. It was very touching to see many other scenes such as when Feng Jiu was locked out as a fox, when Xong Xuan Ren died, when Dong Hua gave Ji Keng the fruit instead of Feng Jiu, when Lian Xong told Di Jun about what Feng Jiu had done for him,... I was moved to tears too many times watching this movie. Also the chemistry between Dong Hua and Feng Jiu is so real!!! I love the acting of Gao Wei Guang & Dillireba!

I stumble across this series and absolutely dig it! I have not read the novel, nor watched the Eternal Love like the discussions below and still find this series very interesting so far. I like watching beautiful people in beautiful costumes! I like the story! it is different! The acting is totally on point! I love the main leads! Their on-screen chemistry is flawless! The main female lead is super beautiful and her character is super cute! I will have many dreams about her hahaha....The main dude totally has it going even with the white hair :-) He has this cold, powerful face, but charming at times...I gotta say it...he looks good. His acting is perfect; it fits the "omnipotent being" character so well. I love that he pretty much does whatever he wants!

Fell in love with the actors and the story

I have been looking for something to watch recently and I found this drama under recommended feed on youtube. I fell in love with the scenery that they used for the story line. It was a very beautiful scenery and i really liked that it didn't look fake ( too much CGI or relying on it too much). To me it showed how hard the team worked together for this production. I thought that the music chosen for each of the scenes was well picked. I also loved every character (they were so fun to watch), and I would not replace the actors and actresses that played them (they were very well chosen). I could feel the emotions they put into their roles, to the point that I kept re-watching the drama over and over again. I did not want the drama to end, it kept me wanting for more. I wished the episodes were longer or the drama itself had a few more extra episodes. I would definitely watch any drama that these actors and actresses are involved in since I enjoyed their acting. The main leads had excellent chemistry and I hope to see them work again soon.

I wish they will come in ELOD part 2 or season 3 because now there is still an excitement what next! Really miss this drama and love it much more

I was so looking forward to this after being extremely impressed by Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms). But this feels plasticized and the acting shallow, lacking depth. I tried hard to finish it but had to call it quits after episode 32, having failed to get drawn into any character by then.

My title says it all. I've watched this drama back to back three times and everytime. I've never cried and laughed so many times during a drama. The chemistry between vengo and dilraba was incredible!! I've watched many chinese drama in my past. I would say this was one of the most beautiful, incredible and captivating drama i've ever watched.

This is a sequal that I very much looked forward to. With 2 very lovable characters: Feng Jiu and Di Jun, what could possibly go wrong? As expected, the chemistry between the actors was as great as I had expected. Furthermore, the biggest gripe I had with the first one, Eternal Love, which was the CGI, has improved by leaps and bounds. Though no Hollywood production quality by any means, the number of glaring mistakes had gone down significantly. However, the time line for this show was not any better than the first. One would usually use human lives as a point of comparison to see the age equivalent for various significant life events right. Well, apparently this would be of no use. Not only does it not follow the 'rules' created by the first film, but instead contradicts it. While this one does give a more complete ending to the romance between the 2 characters introduced in the first film, at times, the romance does seem excessive, and at others, the other aspects of the film are the ones that seem excessive instead. After all, it is a romance show. How I long for more emphasis to be placed on this area, perhaps even a slight slice of life esque show would make it a ton better. Still, at its current state, the culmination of the plot, cast, and cinematography come together to create a great film, perhaps even slightly edging over the first.

So much I liked about this C-drama. Don't get me wrong...still nothing comes near to The Untamed...but I watched the first series Peach Blossom, and this was a natural to view. Watched on You Tube, even with commercial interruptions, easy to view and follow the English Subtitles. The fantasy is fairly involved but much frustration ending in love. I felt the ending to be too gratuitous and kind of painted her as a dummy, when the rest of the show hilighted her intelligence and creativity. Would have preferred a kidnapping of GunGun with rescue by an unknowing Dong Hua. And I also did not care for the instant blowing away of characters by the head demon. But another beautiful, though repetitive score, fabulous sets and costumes, and great stories in general. Yes. More than one story here.

If you want a continuation of Eternal Love: you will be dissapointed. Story is different. Writers changed it. But if you never watched Eternal Love, it won't bother you. Dilraba Dilmurat is just addicting here and the main couple is just wonderful. I totally recommend it. The story gets super interesting after introducing Aranya Dream - you will see. Every interaction since then and every mistery is so interesting that you don't want to stop watching. Also story of Donghua and Bei Fengjiu is way more interesting that main couple in Eternal Love and they have more chemistry.
