The new trailer for Commandos: Origins has brought back childhood flashbacks. Pyro Studios is behind the Commandos series, a highly-regarded collection of real-time tactics video games. It began with Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines in 1998, where players control a team of elite Allied commandos on missions behind enemy lines during World War II. Riding the coattails of its predecessor, Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty, released in 1999, expanded the series with additional missions, throwing in some new curveballs. The year 2001 saw the release of Commandos 2: Men of Courage, which brought forth advanced graphics, gameplay innovations, and richer environmental interactions. The

Amazon’s Fallout series has largely lived up to what once felt like an impossible level of hype. It’s a fantastic adaptation of the franchise that has exposed legions of newcomers to the wonderful horrors of the Fallout universe. Not everyone loves it, but divisiveness has long been part of the Fallout franchise’s legacy.
You’ll have a hard time finding a video game franchise as relatively small as Fallout (at least in terms of the total number of notable entries) that fans seem to disagree about more. For some, Fallout achieved perfection in 1997 (it’s a scientific fact). For others, Fallout didn’t come into its own until well into the Bethesda era of the game. Rankings of the franchise tend to vary wildly.
Before we dive into our rankings, please note I’m not including the Fallout board games or Fallout Pinball in this list. Many...

It’ll be another year before the Dark Knight returns. The Batman Part II, the sequel to Matt Reeves’ first bat-film starring Robert Pattinson, has been given a new release date of October 2nd, 2026.
The delay pushes the anticipated followup back from its original October 3rd, 2025 target by a full year. DC Studios insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter that the delay is a result of last year’s SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, both of which ended in the fall.
The shift is one of many on Warner Bros.’s calendar. The Bride!, which sees Maggie Gyllenhaal directing former Batman Christian Bale, will take The Batman Part II’s original October 3rd, 2025 date. Paul Thomas Anderson’s untitled project set to star Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Ragina Hall is set for August 8th, 2025, while Barry Levinson’s gangster movie Alto Nights has moved from November 24th this year to March 21st next.

Chapter One of James Gunn's new cinematic DC Comics universe is titled "Gods and Monsters." This phrase goes back to a line of dialogue from Dr. Septimus Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger) in James Whale's "Bride of Frankenstein." How fitting then that "Gods and Monsters" kicks off with a Frankenstein-inspired animated TV series: "Creature Commandos."
The premise is simple: A World War II comic in the vein of Marvel's "Sergeant Fury and his Howling Commandos" but with Universal Horror monsters. The original line-up was Lieutenant Matthew Shrieve (a normal human team leader), Sergeant Vincent Velcoro (a vampire), Private Lucky Taylor (a Frankenstein-ian homunculus), Private Warren Griffith (a werewolf), and team medic Dr. Myrra Rhodes (a Medusa-esque Gorgon).
The team was created by legendary writer J.M. DeMatteis and artist Pat Broderick; the Creature Commandos debuted in 1980's "Weird War Tales" #93. Now, an updated version of the team will make it...

After teasing that he and fellow DC Studios CEO Peter Safran today began talking up some of the movies and shows we can expect. And that includes new versions of Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Green Lantern and more. Watch the announcement here, and read the full breakdown below.
Gunn started by confirming that the existing DC movies still to be released — Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom – will all still make it to cinemas, with The Flash and its universe-rebooting nature proving key to helping to usher in the new paradigm. They will lead into what Gunn and Safran are calling 'Gods And Monsters', effectively the first chunk of the first part of the plan. It'll be a mix of TV (both animated and live-action) and movies, with games tying in as needed.
So what can we expect? Gunn talked up 10 initial titles.

In addition to a brand new Swamp Thing movie, the just-announced upcoming slate from DC – now that James Gunn and Peter Safran are in charge – also includes “Creature Commandos,” an animated series for HBO Max that should be of interest to horror fans.
Gunn is writing every episode of “Creature Commandos,” which is particularly exciting. In fact, the show is already in production, so it should be coming our way very soon.
Variety details, “The Creature Commando characters were first launched in 1980. The premise features Frankenstein’s monster teaming up with a werewolf, a vampire and a gorgon to fight Nazis in World War II. It doesn’t appear that Gunn’s version takes quite the same approach — Weasel, one of the characters from Gunn’s 2021 film “The Suicide Squad,” is one of the Commandos, along with Rick Flag’s father, Rick Flag Sr.”
