Overlong, too soppy, too few scares
sophaljonesy4 November 2019
When a young psychic who befriends ghost kids decides to have a normal romantic relationship with a cute guy, she decides to close her third eye so as not to see her spooky friends. But soon she has to face a malevolent entity who is coming after her. The idea seems good, but the story and writing is terrible. The character motivations, especially our heroine's is questionable. Even the main villain's motive is implausible, and this is coming from me; who is willing to suspend huge amount of disbelief to enjoy a movie. The camera shots are good and immersive. There are some jump scares, as expected but they are not effective. The drama feels forced even though the heroine is crying her eyes out. In the whole movie, there are only a few good ideas scattered, and they onlh serve to remind us that this is shorror movie. Not really worth your time. Even if you are a horror fan.

It interesting story, but the writer is too lazy to develop the story. Shallow story ideas with poor conflict resolution. It helps in terms of shooting and acting good actors. But sorry to say, this film not recomended to wacth. I hope Danur doesn't make the 4th if the story is still like this.
