Truly realistic movie , awesome experience

Hats off to the director for having the guts to depict casteism in India, until now none of the Telugu director's had this courage . All the cast and crew did a terrific job . It's a must watch for all the lower caste people to know how ur Ancestors have suffered It's a must watch for all the upper caste people to know how ur ancestors were the cause of suffering..

Palasa 1978 movie is a bold, raw & genuine story

With a well-written movie script by Karuna Kumar, the first half of the movie is too good by introducing the local nativity & showing real-life situations that happened at that time. When you know, how the real-life situation in and around Palasa town, then you'll completely agree with the director. Apart from Fight scenes background music the rest of the BGM is good. I'm not writing any technical review here, because I just want to share the movie review, I don't want to judge any technical value.

A must watch for movie lovers

Movie walks you through the rural lives of past and present India. Well written screenplay keeps you engaged for 2.5 hours. Dialogues seems simple yet they are thought provoking. One should watch this movie to know the ground reality of social structure, how the powerful exploits the powerless.

CASTE BASED

One of the best recent movies I watched in Telugu. I would encourage every one to see this movie and boost these directors for similar kind of stories. Showed how casteism was so real and abused in past. Hopefully people realise the difference now and then , it's gone most part of it.

It's time Machine type of movie..totally taking back to 1970s. Screen play, folk songs, palasa language slang are plus point.

The In-between treat!

The premise had an immense potential. But, some choices made by the creative team while writing sub-plots fail to create an engaging screenplay. The raw and rustic feel of the movie also takes a hit by the amateur act of the cast. Also, Director suddenly comes out of his way when he wrote some characters like the police officer who appears in the later half (you suddenly feel you're watching a regular movie). This very uneven narration would take you away. These genre movies need to be very engaging and very carefully written to give a long lasting experience.

But, this seems to be written by a team who have different schools of thinking.

Can you watch it? Of course, yes. It's not a bad movie in any form. It's just an in-between treat (neither raw nor regular)

One of the best movies in recent times in telugu. The only issue i had in this movie is with the Background music. The scenes which have to be elevated with good BGM are done poorly. The casting, performances and the songs are really good.

This film gives a voice to the majority of the oppressed people in India. Indian culture or Hinduism is based on Caste system which is the most evil practice in the world. We should really welcome and appreciate the efforts of the cast and crew for making this film.

Bro , This story has so much vilonce. The charectors are so intelegent .Vilions (shavukarulu) have a good thinking capacity like king in chass. And hero (mohan rao) is a good music artest belonds to low cast later he faced many discrimination . There are two vilions both them are brothers .They hate each other but hero and his brother not like them they are so united. Here writers are they are remembering us about relation ship between brothers.

This story has a clean charectors with using name in elder days like mohan rao, raja rao. And village names are also used in elder days like ambsoli .

I concludes that this movie is must watched.

Songs in this movie is so good.

There is no use of this movie this type of society in this recent times execpt for creating violence indifferent sections of society. Some ecenes in this movie are too raw which cannot i even describe. Poor editing.
