Long Day's Journey into ICE

With the title I wasn't sure I cared to watch the show if it was going to just become a political show. It presented the topic better than most. It didn't seem preachy, presented the topic, and made people think. I have to say that the issue is tough, and there needs to be compassion and Congress needs to fix this issue and stop passing it around to be a political widget.

She's acting as the attorney, not the judge, and did so in the 1st episode.

She's not trying to get justice, she's trying to skirt the laws she doesn't like. This is what a corrupt judge looks like as they don't judge, they are activists instead putting personal biases over the law. Justice isn't blind here...this is what it looks like when a judge knows someone is guilty and decides the criminals are more important than the victims. (See the first episode for that one. She knew who robbed the family and didn't report it as an officer of the court.)

She says this is about justice, yet puts herself and others above the law. Truly a disgraceful show that reminds me what corruption is and why justice is blind.

Good to see a little light shining on the massive problem that is going on in that country and the dirty plays that are made to try to get around the law, like staking out courthouses by institutions like ICE. Hopefully things will change for the better there, and this episode showed that if people with power make a stand, there can still be some hope.
