First things first Leeds United are a massive club in England and rightly belong in the Premier league. Il be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the club, mainly because there fans seem to think everyone is against them. Reality check every fan and club think this including my club Wolverhampton Wanderers deep down fans know that is not true!! its the territory of us all being football supporters. This revealing behind the scenes look at the arrival of new Italian owner Andrea Radrizzani and highly respected coach Marcel Bielsa to try to bring back the promised land of Premier league football at Elland Road. You get to see the ups and downs of a championship football season, the long hard toil of a 46 game season its a good watch throughout and if the Leeds faithful continue to support the new owner and the manager who both come across as having the same goal for the club and that is Premier league football and I for one believe under these two men they will be rewarded very soon that holy grail what Leeds fc strive for.

Absolutley loved this, as a Leeds fan there are some great moments... When coming from 2-0 behind to beat Villa and Josh Warrington doing the business as the underdog yet again to defeat Carl Frampton the same day, and then the heart break of seeing Daniel James so close to completing a Leeds transfer and the way the season finished.
It's a rollercoaster for sure!

Hard to watch the last episode, brought so many emotional memories back.
Worth a watch if you're a Leeds fan or not, plenty to laugh at for the opposition fans, plenty of behind the scenes insight if you are!
The end was predictable though, bit like gladiator our season died like Maximus 😔

Leeds United - steeped in history and glory, a true 'sleeping giant' of a football club with a massive fanbase who have spent 15 seasons outside the Pemier League under various questionable owners and a plethora of managers ( some only lasting a matter of weeks ). A club which attracts controversy, decribed as 'Dirty Leeds' by opposing fans and the media since the 1960s due to their hard-tackling approach to the game, even when playing exciting attractive football down the decades, the name stuck. In June 2017, Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani takes full control of the club with a 5 year plan to return this once great club to former glories and provide hope for the long-suffering but loyal and passionate fanbase. The first year starts with promise but ends with the inevitable slump and another 2 managers bite the dust. In an audacious move they recruit Marcelo Bielsa 'El Loco' - an unpredicatable, obsessive but much respected coach who achieved legendary status at Newells Old Boys in Argentina. This series documents one of the craziest, rollercoaster seasons of a club which is rarely out of the headlines and seems to attract controversy at every turn. Behind the scenes footage and interviews with board members, players, staff and the fanatical supporters are interspersed with match coverage as the season unfolds. Narrated by life-long Leeds fan Russell Crowe. Hope and expectations build as the team, largely consisting of the same players from the previous season, are transformed under Bielsa's guidance and produce fast, attacking and exciting football which sees the club riding high at the top of the table including dramatic last minute goals. However, things are never straightforward at Leeds United with controversy over 'Spygate' feeding the media with ammunition to attack 'Dirty Leeds' and calling for the club to be heavily punished despite no rules being broken. Bielsa stuns the football world with an improptu press conference and a masterclass in research on on oppsosing teams. many rival clubs call for a points deduction. The fans have seen this before - knowing that their club is often punished unfairly compared to others and the belief that the football authorities still bear grudges from over 50 years ago. This combined with the feeling that referees treat their players more harshly than the opposition ( a stretch of 57 games without a penalty being awarded ) and the fans sense the momentum of the first half of the seaason is lost. Undaunted, the fans continue to sell out grounds wherever they go. The rest of the season includes a potential new signing of a young, exciting player which ends in farce, some exceptional victories and inexplicable losses on the pitch. In the last home game of the season against Aston Villa, an opposing player tries to foul a Leeds player but lies on the ground seemingly injuring himself... Both teams play on and Leeds score but are then physically attacked by Villa players and a melee ensues with chaos off the pitch as arguments between the coaching staff of both teams flare up. What follows has implications on the Rules of the game biing amended. The season explodes in a cataclysmic finale as Leeds having blown the chance of automatic promotion, endure the tension of the playoffs. For those of us who cheered, sung, raged, marvelled and at times, stood in bewilderment during this long, mad season - the poignant softly-sung version of Marching on Together ( Leeds, Leeds,Leeds ) brings a flood of tears even to the most hardened fans. Leeds United - love them or hate them - not a club for the faint-hearted or those seeking mediocrity. We March on Together for another season. 'Are you not entertained? '.

I watched this series twice now and it hits every time. The pride of a people a city and a football club. This is is one of the best docuseries I have watched and by the end of the first episode I felt as if I was in Leeds. You go through the first series and end up rooting for a group of guys to lift a community. There are places on this earth that revolve around sport but Leeds entire atmosphere is affected by the club. The second series is short and understandable with today's pandemic but it doesn't lose the intensity or passion. I can honestly say that I have an official second favorite club and am happy to with them in EPL every week.
Average... Just Average

Nothing much is shown from a behind the scenes viewpoint here, they rarely show Leeds losing a game, you'd think they won every league game that season the way they were playing off the show. Nothing will top the Man City documentary that was shown on Amazon Prime which legit showed EVERYTHING, too many fans shown and interviewed over actual club information.
Excellent look behind the scenes at one of the worlds most respected clubs.

Firstly, I am not a Leeds United supporter I am a Tottenham supporter and have been for over 30 years, however, after watching this series about Leeds United and their fans trials and tribulations there was some tears in my eyes as well. A beautifully filmed and produced documentary about this historically great club. This is what football is all about, they encapsulate the emotions of the fans, the staff and the players in a fantastic way. If you are curious as to what the game of football is all about or just want a nice real life drama show to watch that's free of all politics and trivial day to day problems we all have, this is the show for you. Nothing but football and what comes with it.
Great
