The start was pretty good, however, it was not something exceptional. The character developments were good, furthermore, the romance of main couple who were in a love triangle was okay. There is also a side romantic couple all along the show which was also exciting to watch. Overall the show was good but there are better k-dramas out there so I suggest you watch them first and keep this option somewhere very low in the list.

This drama exceeded my expectations; I rooted for the main characters and hated the bad guys. The acting was super good so I was engaged throughout the drama and happy with the ending. The visuals (scenery and costumes) were spectacular. I thought the writing was very well done. I liked the comradery between the flower crew and the leading lady, who was a likeable "Cinderella" type character. There was both comedy as well as some tense moments of drama in the characters' backstories. The casting of the "good looking" men in the marriage agency was well done, as the actors *were* handsome as well as charming in the show.

Set in the Josean Period, this is a story of an unlucky woman whose fate changes along the way when she meets a matchmaker. The woman is a hard worker and ends up having to choose between her growing up boyfriend who became like her family or her new boss who she has feelings for as well. But, then the story changes to the acts of forgiveness between lovers and friends ultimately giving everyone peace and happiness in their life. The music was superb. It reminded me of theater music from an orchestra and there are many songs throughout the show. Each one, revealing the feelings going on the show. It's overall, very happy with family dynamics and politics of course.

After 30 minutes of watching, I already know who will end up with who. Sadly, I root for the king and I really like him. It is like a bad case of second lead syndrome that I can't sympathize with the lead or like him until the end. The rest went downhill for me and completely lost interest in the story. my rating is for the king and the other two flower boys.

This was my very first K-drama, and I absolutely loved it! The show was a perfect blend of comedy, drama, and romance, all wrapped up in a refreshing and captivating storyline. One of the highlights for me was how beautifully it showcased the culture-rich, vibrant, and fascinating to watch.
The dreamy and exciting events kept me hooked from start to finish, and the actors delivered standout performances that truly brought their characters to life. While some moments might feel a little unrealistic, that only added to the charm and magic of the story. What impressed me the most was how the show never felt boring; every episode was packed with unexpected twists and heartfelt moments. It's the ultimate comfort watch and an absolute must-see!

This was a very intense love triangle and I was honestly rooting for both men. I liked them both, but I felt the King's (Su's) passion for the heroine more than I felt Hun's passion for her. I felt, Hun's romantic feelings were more obvious until the king revealed himself to him. Then he took a step back and the romance felt less passionate than it was when he was simply holding it all in for a different reason. I was a nervous mess by the end of episode 12 waiting to see how all of this would unfold. There was so much at stake for every single character in the story. I was genuinely torn between who she should end up with. Should it be Hun or Su? Both men were so different and appealing in different ways. Su wore his love and passion so openly and ferociously, while having to restrain himself when at the palace and Hun was forced to restrain his affection because of his moral code, commitment to his career, and possible danger from the King. He also had to restrain his emotions even more carefully because loving this woman openly was a death sentence. I don't understand why they didn't tell her the truth from the beginning because she might have kept her feelings in check had she known the risks everyone she cared about had to take. In some ways, I was rooting more for the king because I genuinely felt his passion and I loved his journey from sweet young black smith to powerful king. On the other hand, Hun was going was risking his life by challenging the king and was willing to risk it all. I don't know, watching I was as confused as the heroine.
This was one of the best love triangles in a KDrama because both men were legitimate contenders for this woman's heart. The noble woman, Ms Kang was evil. I dont understand why one of the guys fell in love with her. She had a very mean-spirited heart. I did not care for her at all.

Romantic drama with small bits of comedy relief. I would love to see another season! The costuming is wonderful and the sets appear so realistic that I feel like they filmed it all in real period buildings. Casting seems mostly dead on, with most having a well rounded range of acting skills.
It is sometimes confusing exactly what time period we are looking at, as some things conflict with the costumes, such as sunglasses. These things are easily overlooked, though.
I also really appreciated the well-done subtitles.
And if Park Jihoon ever wanted to give ME a manicure, I would certainly not say no!

I really enjoyed watching this romantic comedy. While some of the plot was predictable, there were enough twists in the storyline to keep this viewer watching the drama to the very end (without skipping).
I thought the cast did a great job with the script they were given. I especially enjoyed the main male and female leads. I empathized with the young king, who turned out to be both wise and benevolent to all of his subjects.
Kudos to the director, set designer, wardrobe designer and screenwriters for doing a marvelous job in bringing this historic fictional drama alive. Kudos to all. Watch it!

I'm a convert to captioned movies ...I truly hated them. I will never convert to dubbing...never! A friend told me to watch a really good movie, but the only problem...it's in Korean! What? I gave it a try and I'm hooked. But I have not been able to enjoy the Asian period dramas...I can't get past the costumes...UNTIL...''Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency." My reward for getting projects accomplished was getting to watch another episode. The acting was excellent, the actors were physically perfect, in my opinion, for their roles; it had variety. At one point I thought I was convinced on the ending...I was wrong. The ''goodies,'' were so good and the, ''baddies,'' were easy to boo! I almost missed watching an excellent movie because of not liking Asian period movies.... I highly recommend this one.

" Flower Crew : Joseon Marriage Agency " had a strong start. The young couple was cute and a delight to watch, as well as the agency, which had interesting characters to crew it. Each character was unique and entertaining, especially Park JiHoon's character, who had a nice twist in the end as well.
The big twist in the begining was pretty good and it kept things interesting until everyone could figure out what had happened. However, the drama started getting boring after a while. The romance, especially the love triangle, was just predictable and it didn't have the intensity to make it great. The couple didn't have chemistry as well. The drama, in addition, stopped showing cases for the flower crew to pick up and they mainly focused on the making of the main character into a lady. Plus, the leading lady's character was annoying from time to time.
So, overall, five out of ten.

I really hate the fact that she was a cheater and declined Su's love for the matchmaker however, she was devastated by the fact that they hid Su's identity as a king from her, I mean sis you're a cheater yourself why sad for being cheated on??? Lol.
Also the drama started to be boring in the middle and focused only on the couple's story rather than the main story which is the matchmaking and stopped showing new cases for them, also there's no clear reason why ministry Kang's daughter hated Gaettong?? Like it was hate from the first sight.
I also could predict most of the story and the love triangle thing was not creative at all.

I love KDramas, comedies, period pieces, fantasy, you name it. So, when you find yourself fast-forwarding through episodes, AND SKIPPING EPISODES ENTIRELY, simply because the story and characters are THAT bad, you know it is a garbage bin of a show.
All the usual tropes at play: 1. The overly handsome leads who make everyone swoon yet have the depth of a goldfish bowl. And end up with the ladies.
2. The lead hard-working beyond reproach character who doesn't end up with the girl, simply because of #1 above.
3. The supposedly smart lead female character who falls for one of the swoon-worthy lead characters and has the gall to state in later episodes, "You showed me what love really is". /groan 4. The king/lead character who is trapped in that never-ending paradox of KDrama Historical Fiction: The King who is all-powerful and can do anything, yet...can't do a DAMN THING.
This one is an insult to the senses. And an insult to love as a whole. For it defines love as doughy-eyed reactions to lovely men, over men who have worked hard and developed a relationship deeper than looks alone. Argh, this show made me nauseated.
The writers of this trash should be fired and never allowed to work in TV or cinema again!

I give 5 stars to custumes, scenes, ambients, music, actors, since only those made me endure all this mental, moral and energetic mess.
As an astrologer I always check energies of leading actors and I'm so sorry that they miss to connect the right dots in this one.
Lee Soo (the King) and Gae-ttong actually (as actors) had a beautifu water energy match unlike the one she had with Ma Hoon actor wich was one of the worst in general. If actor that represented Ma Hoon had a King role, this plot would be more convincing and bearable.
The power of most popular K dramas Always comes from good energy match between leading actors.
