There's been some mean reviews....
rorycbanks23 July 2019
So I joined up with IMDB just so I could write this review.

I'm a week behind but I've just caught up with the first episode of this series and found it to be a wonderfully warm and funny show. When looking for more about it, It's especially embarrassing that 6 of these have been given by men, I mean come on. I'm a man (last time I checked, and I check often) and I found alot to laugh at in this first episode, starting straight away with the school's motto seen in the first scene"s establishing shot. There's a great cast, whether they be kids, teachers or the mums, giving naturally funny performances. Especially Morgana O'Reilly, who I've realised was also in the great NZ Horror/Comedy ""Housebound"" of which I'd been thinking fondly of just an hour ago. I hope this show is finding it's appreciative audience, and that they are legion. Looking forward to many future episodes.

Super Cute

It's light fare and the main characters all fit nicely together. I'll pretty much watch anything with Anna Jullienne in it.

Caught off guard with this one

First off I want to say I'm a guy. I started watching this because I could not decide what series to click on. I seen the title and decided to start watching, not really expecting to like it. Episode 1 was not a good start for me. I found myself turned away with how mean everyone was to each other. I know I know... It's called Mean Mums so that should not have surprised me. I stayed with it and almost quit after episode 2. BOY!, I was glad I didn't. Character development is key and could make or break a series. This show taught me that just because the first 2 episodes were not to my liking that I shouldn't judge so quickly. This has turned out to be extremely refreshing and different from what I'm used too watching. Now back to character development. The writers of this show are brilliant. I was thrown for a loop at how everything fell into place without going into extremes. I'm not familiar with the cast of actors but they're all incredible. There is not one cast member I dislike. I love them all!. Funny, witty, awkward and let's not forget mean. The bond that develops between the main cast members is heartwarming and funny. 10 stars might seem high but I have to say. Bravo on a job well done.

I watched the entire 1st season before I wrote this review.

It's great Eddie Waspe (playing Rayan) did an awesome job. I'll pretty much watch anything with him in it. I love this show so much. It is good for all ages (in my opinion). I am friends with on of the actors and thought they did a great job. Loved it so much, wish there were more series I could watch but I could only watch the first episode and the third series. The there main mums all did a great job and I hope they make more. The character that plays Rayan's mum is actually his aunty which I thought was really cool. Hope they make a season four even though they proboly won't. Loved this so much.
