- Throughout the movie, 12 yr old girls wear very mature clothing which could seem inappropriate to certain parents of viewers.
- There is a scene near the beginning of the film where a girl is seen walking out of her house with a sweatsuit. When out of view of her house, she takes off the sweatsuit, revealing a more dressed up outfit: A flowy yellow top (which does not have sleeves) a gray fingertip length skirt, and black boots.
- The outfit looks too 'grown up' for the 7th grader, as it makes her look like a buisness-women.
Violence & Gore

- The word "bitch" is used twice.
- When red paint is spilled on a girl's pants, it is said as a joke that she's having her period.
- This movie is about a group of wealthy and spoiled girls who call themselves the Pretty Commitee and bully a new girl by calling her a loser, saying her clothes aren't pretty enough, etc.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The main character Massie has a very arrogant attitude.
- There is a scene towards the end of the film where a lip gloss project backfires; the lip gloss, made with peanuts, are given to girls who have peanut allergies. Due to the allergic reaction that occurs, the girls' lips turn red and inflate. The girls scream and start freaking out. The scene gets a bit intense, and thus may be a bit scary for younger viewers who can't understand what is going on. It may also be triggering or upsetting for viewers who have food allergies.

- Teen girls talk about one main character kissing an older teen boy
- A 10 yr old boy shows a very mild crush on one of the main characters. She rebuffs him multiple times. At one point, for one character to sneak out of another character's room, it is suggested he play the "pervy younger boy crushing on the hot neighbor" angle. He stands in the character's room, and remarks that this isnt "his" room. The character screams for her mom. Played for laughs.
Violence & Gore
- A main character has red paint purposely spilled on the back of her white jeans to make it look like she got her period. Her teacher insists she goes to the nurse's office.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The basis of the movie is a mean group of girls pick on other girls lower than them. They tend to insult and belittle one main character in particular. We see this main character reduced to tears a few times. Could be saddening or upsetting to viewers who have been bullied before. One could easily say some of the bullying done in this movie is close to the kind seen in Mean Girls.
