    An excellent production

One of the best plays I have ever watched, the production was excellent, it embodies the horrors of the battle of the Somme in great detail, considering its location at Govan I can think of no where better for this production to have been staged with such a fine cast, many of whom are also no longer with us. The use of the ship yard was inspirational, the music was apt considering the seriousness of the topic and performed with feeling, the lighting effects complimented the story and were used to great effect. In my opinion this play should be seen by all and certainly ranks alongside such greats as All quiet on the Western Front, Paths of Glory, and as such should have been made available on DVD.
