Was hoping the show would mature this season

This show needs to makeover the cast. Mac never had a bunch of kids hanging around. If they're trying to appeal to a younger crowd just remember who's sitting home Friday nights watching TV. Reason blue bloods and H50 are popular

Disappointed

McGyver could never been considered Award Winning but this episode eliminated the one entertaining piece of the show: how he takes everyday articles and converts them into necessary items or equipment in order to assist the team in completing a mission. The removal of George Eads, one of the more interesting and real characters, last Season was a mistake. But, this episode degenerated into a formulaic program of the worst kind with holes of how four wanted individuals some how travelled on whatever without capture. The ending, likewise, was poorly scripted and delivered. This show replaced Magnum PI which still has some merit, unlike this mess.

For this I have to miss the weekly adventures of Perdita Weeks (Magnum P.I. (2018)) until April 10th?

OK, part of it is that it took to long getting the gang back together, plus the story was not compelling. Maybe next week when they can devote the entire episode to the story it will be better.

Add to that a major technical error, 6 is being generous.

What happened

So series 3 ends in a certain kind of way. Then this series 4 starts with a different kind of way? There is absolutely no relation between the end of series 3 & the beginning of series 4. This is rather confusing when & if you watch it.

I'm just done

I've tried to look past the bad writing, the bad acting and the bad science, 2 of which seem to always be present but this episode was so bad I actually stopped watching. I can't believe this steaming pile of garbage of an episode actually made it on the air. I loved the original MacGuyver when I was a kid and have stuck with this one over nostalgia but this episode was so bad I'm just done.

Goofs
When Boze's interview starts, his neck is bare. When Mandy asks "How does it feel to stick the landing?", a scarf appears around his neck. It disappears in the next shot when Boze says, "There are worse things.:" then reappears when he goes over to talk to Mac.
