- Scooby and the gang visit a gypsy fortune teller, who warns them of great danger, especially if they visit Franken Castle. But the castle, which Fred explains is "the only castle ever imported stone by stone from Transylvania," is their destination and they won't be deterred. When they arrive, they're greeted by a vampire at the entrance, who warns them away. Then the drawbridge goes up as Daphne stands on it, trapping her inside the castle. The rest of the gang make their way over the moat and go to rescue poor Daphne. Inside they encounter not only the vampire, but a werewolf and a Frankenstein's monster as well. Their search for Daphne takes them through a torture chamber, a mad scientist's laboratory, a dungeon and a crypt before they find the clues that explain why these monsters are trying to scare them away.—J.
