  Alex Danvers : Hardly. But I am famous for this breakfast in particular.

  Kelly Olsen : Oh.

  Alex Danvers : So, we have poached eggs, crispy bacon, fresh whipped cream, and... Danvers' blueberry pancakes.

  Kelly Olsen : Um...

  Alex Danvers : I know, right? One bite of these, and you will die for them.

  Kelly Olsen : [recoiling]  I really will.

• Kelly Olsen : I'm not the biggest fan of blueberries.

  Alex Danvers : Oh!

  Kelly Olsen : In fact, I am deathly allergic.

  Alex Danvers : You are?

  Kelly Olsen : When I was four, I ate a handful of them, and my throat closed up, and my face probably turned the color of those blueberries.

  Alex Danvers : Oh, my god. I... am so sorry.

  Kelly Olsen : It's okay. I was four.

  Alex Danvers : No, but I nearly just killed you.

  Kelly Olsen : Okay, you didn't just kill me, and I always carry an emergency EpiPen with me.

  Alex Danvers : Really? I didn't know that.

  Kelly Olsen : Hey, it's all good. Also, bacon and whipped cream happen to be two of my most favorite foods on the planet.

  Alex Danvers : So, you don't really like poached eggs, either, do you?

  Kelly Olsen : Not so much. But do you know what I like more than anything?

  Alex Danvers : Mm-mm.

  Kelly Olsen : You.

• Kelly Olsen : Remember, this world is a construct. Nothing in here is by accident. The book that led you to the void, you said it was about the Martian civil war?

  J'onn J'onzz : It was the darkest moment in Martian history. In fact, it ended our history. The White Martians attacked us, sabotaging us on every front. Including our minds.

  Kelly Olsen : How did they sabotage you?

  J'onn J'onzz : I don't know.

  Kelly Olsen : Yes, you do.

  J'onn J'onzz : [in the void, he sees a Green Martian with a young White Martian]  That's him. My brother was a traitor. He poisoned us with H'ronmeer's curse.

• Kelly Olsen : Who would mind wipe you?

  J'onn J'onzz : Only another Martian would be strong enough. But wiping a Martian's mind is the greatest sin in Martian culture.

  Kelly Olsen : Well, we could rebuild your memory based on what you already know. Repairing the break could also help ease your pain.

  J'onn J'onzz : I'm not sure I can face what's inside that void.

  James Olsen : J'onn. I... I know that looking into your past can be terrifying. When I did it, I thought I might lose myself for good. But Kelly was right by my side, and I came back stronger.

  J'onn J'onzz : Give me those contacts.

• Kelly Olsen : There's something off on your scan. Okay, part of what this tech does is it maps and catalogs your memories. Okay, these rings represent every year of your life; think of them like tree rings. You see these? They're broken. Have you ever had illness or brain trauma before?

  J'onn J'onzz : I've had many battles.

  James Olsen : Didn't you also inherit M'rynn's memories? Maybe that's causing a rift in your own.

  Kelly Olsen : Okay, we should rule out everything. And if you want, we can further explore the breaks. It might help us figure out a better way to stop your pain.

  J'onn J'onzz : Whatever you think will help.

  Kelly Olsen : Okay. I'm gonna go in with him. Make sure nobody interrupts us.

  James Olsen : You got it.

• Kelly Olsen : First, we build. I find it's easiest for patients to create a method for organizing their memories. Imagine somewhere familiar.

  [entering his memories, they find themselves in J'onn's P.I. office] 

  Kelly Olsen : [looking at a bookshelf]  You see how some of these spines are blank? This must have been the breaks that I saw on the scan.

  J'onn J'onzz : [looking at the titles that bookend the blank ones]  Battle of L'Zoril M'ht. Battle of C'arel. These are battles of the Martian civil war. There's something about... this one.

  [as he reaches for a blank book in the middle, they hear a rumble; turning, they see an alien doorway nearby] 

  Kelly Olsen : I've never seen this before.

  J'onn J'onzz : It's Martian.

  Kelly Olsen : [opening the door, he sees nothing beyond]  What do you think that void means?

  J'onn J'onzz : Someone wiped my mind.

• Alex Danvers : Nothing says sorry for the terror like cookies.

  Kelly Olsen : Oh, hey, I got you a little gift.

  Alex Danvers : Oh!

  Kelly Olsen : [giving her an index card]  So this is the list of my allergies. Blueberries, hazelnuts, bees, and cats.

  Alex Danvers : This is very helpful. Thank you.

• Kelly Olsen : Why are Alex and Supergirl fighting?

  J'onn J'onzz : That's not Alex, that's my brother. Alex may still be inside.

  Kelly Olsen : I'm gonna go find her.

• Kelly Olsen : To a successful day.

  Alex Danvers : Ugh. To an exhausting day. And, um... thank you so much for helping J'onn. You really are a miracle worker.

  Kelly Olsen : It was nothing. You're the real hero. Almost catching J'onn's brother.

  [putting her hand on Alex's] 

  Kelly Olsen : I feel like I barely understand what you guys do. How did you manage to track him?

  Alex Danvers : [becoming suspicious]  You know what? Let's not order in. I still have some of that blueberry pancake batter in the fridge, so how about I whip some of those up?

  Kelly Olsen : Sounds good.

  Alex Danvers : [having confirmed her suspicion, she surreptitiously presses her signal watch]  You're not my girlfriend.

• Kelly Olsen : [seeing two Kellys in front of her, Alex draws her gun]  Alex, it's me.

  Kelly Olsen : Alex, listen to me. Just hold us both here until help comes.

  Kelly Olsen : No. He's just trying to escape. Shoot him.

  [Alex shoots her, and she transforms back into Malefic; before he flies away, he pushes Kelly off the roof] 

  Alex Danvers : No! No!

  [she sighs in relief as Kara appears with Kelly in her arms] 

• Supergirl : Well, the building's all right. Everything's sound. But I can't speak for your reputation with your neighbors or Mr. Nelson's melted pint of Rocky Road.

  James Olsen : So, that was your brother, the traitor?

  J'onn J'onzz : Yes. I'm afraid this is far from over. When our minds were joined, Malefic said I was still in the dark. Perhaps if I could access more of my memories, I might be able to uncover what his next move will be. Kelly, do you think we could go deeper with Obsidian's tech? Perhaps turn the energy up to 80 biohertz?

  Kelly Olsen : That kind of power could reset your brain for good. We can't take that chance.

• Kelly Olsen : Alex, wake up. Wake up, Alex.

  Alex Danvers : [waking with a gasp]  Don't touch me.

  Kelly Olsen : Hey, it's me. It's me.

  Alex Danvers : [calming down as Kelly takes her hand]  It's you. Okay. It's you.

• Alex Danvers : You know, I, um... I-I realized that my spiral this morning about the blueberries wasn't... wasn't really about the blueberries.

  Kelly Olsen : What do you mean?

  Alex Danvers : We haven't been together for very long, so, you know, it just made me realize how much we still don't know about each other. And, you know, I really frickin' like you, like, a lot. And so... that scared me.

  Kelly Olsen : Alex, you're safe with me.

  Alex Danvers : I know that now. Earlier when I... when I touched her hand, I knew that wasn't you. Because you can't fake how that feels. Just like you can't fake being who you are. So, on that rooftop, when you made that very selfless choice, I knew exactly in that moment which one of you was my Kelly. And I might not know every little detail about you yet, but I know you.

  Kelly Olsen : [kissing]  Aw! So sweet.

  Alex Danvers : Isn't it?
