Andrei Krasko at his best !
danilak-122 August 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The last film of Andrei Krasko became his best. After numerous supporting roles and cameos Krasko got his first and at the same time his last leading part. And acted it brilliantly. His Dr. Viktor Tyrsa, a man who never believed in life after death accidentally lapse into coma and joins the bunch of people, who like him are in a same state. They travel across some deserted land, headed by a man, calling himself instructor. They have no goal. They just go and wait for their turn to go back to life, or die. During this trip Dr. Tyrsa has to change all his beliefs and take a new look at life and death. No need to speak about performance of Krasko. All his roles, even shortest cameos, are memorable and lively. But only in this picture, when he got the majority of screen time, we can enjoy his talent at it's maximum. Supporting cast also worth kind words and complements Krasko perfectly. Overall - very good movie, brilliant Krasko and 9 out of 10.

really beautiful

a delicate problem who represents essential question for everybody. inspired script. good director. and superb performance of actors. it can be a page of Tchekov or only a sweet-bitter movie. in fact, it is only a remember about virtues of Russian cinema and special speech about an obscure part from us.for many viewers, it can be a surprise. or a parable. or just fairy tale. but it is a common story about a man and a slice, a large slice of his life. comedy and drama, nice dialogs and precise science of tension, crumbs of gray, white and spring colors, wise and honest, charming and lucid, it is a beautiful film. beautiful and little more.

Philosophy on primary school level

As for my understaning of life, things shown in the movie are way too basic, I would rather be pessimistic realist than believe in such simple point of living as shown in this movie. Life is more sophisticated that that. If my life was as in this movie I would rather die.
