Clarke's on her way to....
Abdulxoxo26 August 2020
Destroy another civilization in the name of 'saving her friends'. And what was that 'we need Clarke' thing, I just hate it and it's just an old boring way of putting Clarke on top always. I mean must she be always the first to meet the others new guy? And how did Raven just shoot 8 people almost at the same time? Even she's wearing the "alien suit" it seemed pretty impossible to me.

I like hope, gab,and echo part much better. Echo decision at end makes kinda loathe her character a bit tho.

All the these people rating 10, come on this episode and previous ones doesn't even deserve 8 let alone 10. And the whole "best episode in the series" if I hear that one more time. They just keep saying that in literally every episode.

I'm baffled.
Splarke2211 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Overall, 7x04 is a very weak episode of The 100. Following what might've honestly been the worst episode in the entire show's run last week, "Hesperides" wasn't much better. It really baffles me how the writers/showrunners thought we would be invested into watching Echo, Hope, & Gabriel centric episodes in the FINAL SEASON of the show. I actually do like Gabriel & Hope, but I don't want to see them & Echo more than Clarke, Bellamy (who we still have yet to see for more than 15 seconds this season), Raven, Murphy, & Octavia (who we've barely seen as well). I've never seen a show basically put all of their core characters on the back burner in the last season, it's quite mind boggling. When we actually did get to see Clarke a little bit, it felt as though Eliza's acting was just off.. like she was just going through the motions. Maybe it's EJ playing up Clarke feeling dead inside after losing her mom, but even the dialogue just seemed bad. As for Echo, she hasn't changed one bit. We see her revert back to her old ways and kill Orlando's people after promising she wouldn't, along with leaving Orlando on Sky Ring for him to later commit suicide. It really reminded me of Finn in Season 2 killing the grounders when trying to find Clarke. I'm really hoping Echo will face the same consequences for her actions as Finn did..

The last few minutes were the only redeeming aspects of 7x04 for me. We see some absolutely crazy stuff pop off with Clarke and company. Raven has now killed even more people in an effort to save her friends & I'm interested to see what this'll mean for her character going forward. Now Clarke & the group are seemingly stranded on a deserted ice planet and one of the disciples has kidnapped Gaia & taken her to an unknown planet!

Unfortunately, we'll probably have to wait until 7x06 to find out what happened. What really irks me is that the preview for 7x05 makes it seem like it'll mostly be centered around the snooze fest conflict over on Sanctum between people we don't care about. The only bright side is it looks like Murphy will have a huge episode & we'll get to see what is happening to Octavia in planet Bardo.

I'm really fearing that my favorite show is pulling a Game of Thrones right now & giving us a horrible final season. The first two episodes weren't bad, but these last two have me fearing the worst.

It's getting hard to want the main characters to 'win'
butcherbob11 June 2020
I'm surprised other reviews haven't mentioned how the characters in this show come across as little more than sociopathic murderers. All they ever seem to do is kill anyone they meet with no excuse other than they aren't "our people".

Their complete disregard for life is especially bad considering the human race is nearly extinct. It's very hard to regard them as being justified in any of their actions when their supposed enemies haven't killed any of them and have even tried to talk and negotiate. In the meantime, our 'heroes' consistently resort to killing other people as their first option every time.

And the "our people" excuse is pathetic and well beyond stupid. It's perhaps the lamest reason to keep killing people when the human race has been reduced to only a handful of survivors in the first place.

THE BEST EPISODE OF SEASON 7 SO FAR
eduusito11 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has everything. It was so much better than 7x03, and it incorporates the true main storyline of the season, showing us the true villains of the season, and discovering more about the planets that are still connected because of the Anomaly. The story between Echo, Gabriel and Hope was pretty amazing. I understand that many people don't like this because of Echo and maybe Gabriel, but we all have to say that Hope is a pretty good addition to the show. This episode leaves a great cliffhanger, following up with more storylines to get to understand. Clarke, again, was fantastic. And Jordan, I think that in this episode wasn't annoying and he was more like his father, I liked that. The two new characters who were introduced in this episode, Dev and Orlando (I know that this characters is from 7x02, but his storyline develops in 7x04) were surprisingly good, I liked their stories and we knew more about the Sheperd, the disciples and Bardo. Besides, there was a certain thing that surprised me: how did the disciples know about Clarke? I mean, they knew how she was and that she was dangerous. Then that means that they know about her sins in her past. That willbe a great mystery to solve in this season. To conclude, I would like to see Bellamy again, but we hope that he is in the next episode or soon enough in the season. I really hope that Bob Morley has recovered from his psychological problems, because that is a tough issue, he deserves to be recovered and to be happy. When he is finally better from that, I hope we will see him soon.

Time anamolies and on a search for Bellamy.
cruise0112 June 2020
(3 out of 5 stars).

The episode is about Clarke trying to find her friends. While Echo are trying to find Bellamy. Except they are stuck on a planet for five years. Kind of entertaining. But i feel like the script and story is all over the place.

If someone could ever explain why they didn't take the suits from the dead ones at the end of the episode, I'd rate it much higher.

Episode 5 is gonna be hype 6 is gonna also be hype, 7 is pretty hype, 8 IS SUPER HYPE
Neptune16514 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When Gabriel found Becca's old video on ep2, she explains the farther you are from a black hole the faster "time dilation" seems to be (planet beta) and the closer to the black hole (I'm assuming the milky ways black hole center) the slower time seems to be like planet sanctum and earth. All based on Einsteins theory of time dilation. 10yrs on Beta (Penance/Skyring) = 30secs on Sanctum(Alpha)/Earth = 20days on Bardo give or take. This is going to backfire on Echo. They are fools for not wearing space suits in the wormhole. I wish all of the main characters were trapped in the anaomoly, and that was season 7. The Sanctum storyline should not have carried over into this season. We didn't need this four episode introduction into the actually plot. I'm so disappointed in this season, but hopefully next episode things will pick up. Lol I hate Jordan too. He is useless and beyond annoying. Also I agree with what Echo did. If those people lived, then things would be so much harder.

Yeah, what's up with Clarke saving the day by pulling a lever
Neptune16514 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Just saw this episode now, and I can't for the world understand the stupid decision to take a 1 in 4 chance/risk to explore a new world with no equipment or supplies. They just got like 5 more suits at the end, and their weapons too. Pack some food/water when going into a place where you know you might get stranded, and also the pic of that planet really really looked like it was an icy cold one. What do you guys think? I thought Dev looked like Murphy wen I first saw him too. I really like the sanctum storyline but yes the Anomaly storyline is stronger. As for Echo her actions are justified but brutal. I hope they dont kill Murphy in sanctum I will be annoyed. No guards by the Anomaly, stranded on the wrong planet, while Clarke's "children" Madi vs Sheidheda will happen in Sanctum- Clarkekru is being dumb again. Echo should've killed Orlando too, cause of that loose end Disciples know what/who, queen Nia would say: WEAKNESS🤣. One thing The 100 does really well is changing character dynamics & relationships when they spend time together within time jumps like the space crew in season 5 & now different crews on Skyring.
