Same style, same characters, same story ... the beginning of the series is much better

Yeah.

Still prefer Siccin 1-3. Better storylines and scarier too. I was hoping for a good fight between the good and evil but... you got to see it to know what happen.

boring compared to the others was a bad one

"Siccin 6" continues its eerie exploration of the supernatural with a 6/10 rating from me, and I must say, I found it strangely captivating. The acting, though not consistently polished, lends authenticity to the unsettling narrative. The film editing, while occasionally uneven, manages to maintain a sense of suspense. The film's strength lies in its commitment to Turkish supernatural folklore, offering a relentless sense of foreboding. The music heightens the film's overall eerie ambiance, while the cinematography captures the lurking darkness within everyday scenes. "Siccin 6" builds upon the established themes of the series, underscoring the idea that meddling with the paranormal carries a heavy price. While it may have its flaws, it remains an intriguing addition to the "Siccin" series, ideal for those who relish a dose of supernatural chills.

Alper Mestçi:(

6 may be the worst of the film almost ... only to support the horror movies in the last 3 films I went to the cinema siccin .. the plot was almost absent in the film as if it had been constantly cut, continuous play, runaway, screaming had to be explained in a larger way.

SO BORING
sandunalix8 July 2022
How are people saying this is better than dabbe the possession. It's honestly so boring that I've ended up scrolling thru my tiktok instead. And I'm a huge fan of horror movies. "It's showing people going thru hopeless situations" it's so dumb. You just get confused on what's going on. It does have jump scares but it's not scary at all. The scary women don't look scary. I look scarier when I wake up in the morning. Honestly don't waste your time. I don't even want to watch the other Siccin's as this one is meant to be the scariest.

mohammedbayati11 September 2020
Another joke had been made named as siccin 6 After its predecessor siccin 5 No way to compare them with the highly appreciated siccin 4 & siccin 3 which were great.. Siccin 1 & 2 are well but not up to siccin 3,4

Best Turkish Horror
selmatanoglu21 August 2019
Siccin 6 is the best movie of the series. The best horror films are the ones where the characters are in hopeless situations with no easy way out. Siccin 6 is one of those films. It is very very creepy. Make sure you watch this film during daylight hours. Those with a nervous disposition should avoid. The scariest scene of the movie is the walking-talking babies. I couldn't stop thinking about that scene. The cinematography is the best in Turkish horror cinema.

Basically a really fun and scary superhero origin story...
karakurtf9 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Siccin series has always been a guilty pleasure for me, knowing that it will mostly lack in material but will compensate with the content brimming with style (a lot of good make up, spooky locations and jump scares.) In this one however, I can proudly say that Mestci has achieved what seemed almost impossible up till now. He combined the possession formula and a superhero origin story, while keeping the focus of the plot on the possessed family all the way. Merve Ates(Efsun), (who was and is still my favorite child star in Turkish cinema in recent years) is becoming creepier and creepier (meant as a compliment) She is an innocent looking girl, who, all of a sudden gives a snarky smile and you don't know how to feel about her up until the last moment. Internal family dynamics and the plot is not something to be talked about, but it gets the job done. Orhan, the protaganist of the third movie is the deus ex machina of Siccin 6 and the mentioned superhero of this strange origins story. Cinematography and execution in some of the scenes are some of the best for Turkish horror genre. There was a warehouse scene which was mostly shot in a single take, and a semi-subtle creeping dolls scene, both of which managed to impress and scare me. The problem is the build up, which is somewhat always missing in Alper Mestci's feature length films. The movie begins and at the 11th second jumpscare ensues and it never stops until the end of the movie. Give us a breather kardes! Tell us who these characters are, how they respond to other people, what are their motivations, etc. And only after then, the plot twist that you were hoping to shock us will earn some credibility. My second complaint is related with the pacing and the style of the scares. There was one specific scene where the character woke from 3 layers of nightmares and there were still some supernatural stuff going on in her room. Maybe take some inspiration from Asian horror instead of the tired "it was all a dream" trope? All in all a very successful and fun ride. Anyone who has enjoyed at least 1 movie from the series will surely love this one. It is really easy to get into as an outsider even if you are unfamiliar with the local culture. So anyone who would like to get into Turkish horror, watch Siccin 3 and Siccin 6 back to back to see what Turkish movie makers are capable of.

Kudos to everyone who is involved!

An invitation to kindness
Ali_mozaffari_19999 June 2021
It was a film that taught me that resentment and hatred cause destruction and are very bad deeds. Love and kindness in all fields cause salvation and happiness.

Best horror series i have EVER watched!!!
cehicsedin4 July 2023
So...Many people have been complaining about how Siccin series is bad with bad jumpscares and everything, but..let me tell you something. Story about Orhan and him converting to Islam after working with jinns is MORE THAN AWESOME! And when i tell you..I WAS SHOCKED when i watched Siccin 2, all that family drama. Now villain..Shufyezin is best villain of this movies. In other country, than Türkiye, her victims are DEFENCELESS! She is even stronger than Valak. Villains are so well written that you feel bad sometimes for them since they met Orhan. After all...This series is awesome, i LOVE IT! So i give it 10/10.
