National Geographic Documentary on the Power of Water
By far, one of the best, if not the best, documentary ever on the elixir of life. This documentary is a must see for all who harbor a real interest in our planet and how we fit into the great scheme of things. Although it offers no answers, this documentary does an excellent job of covering the most difficult issues regarding water and its global availability where needed most. It was the first to raise alarm bells regarding worldwide water shortages and its impact on human life; it speaks to the issues we all face, the prospect of global war over – of all things – water! I really liked its opening statement: There is to day no more nor is there any less water than has ever existed on this Earth (I didn't enclose it in quotes because it's not an exact quote, but it's the best I can do from memory).
