- A main plot point of the movie is bullying and a side plot how rumours get spread in small communities. A lot of name calling and some accusations, while the main character does very little to fight back, resulting in no feeling of relief and a negative atmosphere until the very end.
- A character walks on a street in a bikini and gets catcalled and name called out of a car by three men. Two of them then "jokingly" try to abduct her and joke about raping her, stopping in the end "because she's to heavy" and leaving her, not without ripping the neckstrap of her bikini before.
