A surprising scenario
willf7117 June 2020
Different meanings and interpretations are possible. The main actress plays very well and excels at alternating between timorous and wanton behaviour. Some scenes made me laugh out loud. All in all, the overall atmosphere of the movie is a bit strange but I didn't regret watching it.

Not what you'd expect

A gentle slight movie, highlight Olla a internet "bride" from the internet who is brought over from Eastern Europe to the still back waters of a French suburb to look after Pierre and his elderly mother.

Things don't go as planned, or do they. Depending on whose perspective you watch thx film. Pierre or Olla.

A very gentile 7/10

Behaviorism at one hundred percent

In this short tale, dialogues are useless, only characters behaviors count if you watch very closely. Of course you can read it in many ways, and that's precisely what's interesting. Watch the way the young woman behaves and you don't need anything else. Very delightful to watch.

She must really like ham.

These are the type of shorts that pretentious indie film fans will say they enjoy even though there is very little substance to them.

The story is apparently about a mail order bride or a bought in carer purchased by a man with an elderly mother.

The female is probably eastern European who is using her role as a stepping stone while turning tricks in the street.

There's basically nothing of value nor is there any strong clear message.

The only reason anyone will watch this is based on the trailer with the young female gyrating in her underwear to dance music.

This has basically been over hyped because it has a female director, however with the use of naked flesh and sex you could easily be confused with thinking it was directed by a male. No doubt one that would have been criticized for the flesh on show but because it's a female director it's supposedly "empowering".

Basically you won't care about what happens to anyone and it just sort of ends.......

Save yourself 30 mins....the two in the rating was for the girl the rest is negligible....

Warning: Spoilers
30minutes of short film doesn't make any sense, except a B×××job & Bar dance.

A useless short
nikhilthemacho1 June 2020
No storyline, no acting, no directorial sense. Waste of 27 minutes of time. There's no plot. Just random scenes clubbed together.
