Less frivolity and a grittier harsh reality this time with the advent of an election leading to violence in the streets. This and several other adversaries stand in opposition to Jack, in business and in love.

In the age of sexism and not much progress of women's right especially in light of abortion rights in the USA, this fantasy of a woman having an open lesiban relationship in that age and time.. the story is sooooo unbelievable.. hog wash.
