I didn't think I would get into this as it requires me to use subtitles but I was drawn in with the first episode which was truly riveting. Following the path of a young Ana Lucia and her mother's journey. Oh my gosh it pulled at my heart strings the little girl was amazing as Anna Lucia and her tears could have filled a lake. A Terrible crime has been committed and you just have to see how it unfolds. As I got invested in this show I checked to see how many episodes I have to enjoy and imagine my surprise when I just kept on scrolling all the way down to 56!! As the episodes go in you are introduced to many likeable characters which further more holds your interest I.e the dashing Pablo.

It reminds me of the American show Revenge but still very different in its own merit and too be honest her mother's killer has a better story and plot. The only thing I can't get my head around is coming back 30 years later to right a wrong what took her so long. I do recommend this. Nice soapy drama.

This was good. We need a season 2. What was the deal with Pablo's bro? He barely had a role.

Analia actress Carolina Gómez was way too old for this role, should have been cast as the mother or wife

All other roles were excellent (only Pablo's daughter needs acting lessons). Juliana Galvis who plays Carolina is an amazing actress and should have been cast as Analia. The current Analia (Carolina Gómez) is almost 50 playing a 30 something? Her love scenes with Pablo are gross, like kissing his mother. Not fooling anyone. Even Michelle Manterola could have played a better Analia, The age would fit. Analia should be in the 30s to fit the role. Carolina Gómez should have been cast as Mejia's wife, age wise, would have been more appropriate. Even the actress cast as Mejia's wife is younger than her.

Could not stop watching this film even though it is a foreign film. English captions. Everything about this film was premium. Great actors, wardrobe, plot, cinematography, location. Each episode had me hungry for more. Hoping to see remaining four episodes. Hit this one out of the park. Thanking all the cast and crew for such a great film.

In life whatever you do keep in mind that people are always going to judge.. So it solely depends on you on what impact it takes upon ur life whether negative or positive.. Little ANA acted very well and she had to be applaud for that.. she got me glued to my tv screen 🤣 Ok .. as for those who are complaining of the lead casts been old and doesn't fit in that role.. What's actually the color of your problem??

Haven't U guys watch a series or novela whereby the actor/actress is older than the other main lead casts.. So get ur facts well b4 U judge her... Also, I loved the acting of Guillermo although he's a villain .

SO MUCH WRONG BUT COMPULSIVE VIEWING

After watching the excellent 'Velvet' another Spanish drama I needed a long series/season to lose myself in.

This had so much wrong with it from the annoyingly overpowering background drumming music, the lead actress was clearly older than the main romantic lead, and the acting comprised mainly of having head in hands or hands combing through hair and most of the performances was mediocre at best. The person playing Benji, well where did they get him from ?? He clearly never had an acting lesson in his life, he never showed any reaction and didn't know where to stand on set, and don't get me started on that back to front baseball cap.

The best actor throughout was Brian Moreno - Guillermo (his real life son played the younger version), he played the part of an evil megalomaniac to perfection. I thought no-one could be worse than JR Ewing in Dallas, decades ago, but this actor blows him out of the water !

Yes, despite all its faults, it made for compulsive viewing.

Watchable but not that great

I am still watching the series, but honestly getting bored with the inconsistencies, and unconvincing storyline. The first thing that is hard to believe is the age/relationship ration between the characters. For Example Marlon Moreno was born in 1966 , yet his character has fathered Ana Lucia, played by Carolina Guerrero, who is 50 years old in real life. Although she is very beautiful, but her love, Pablo, played by George Slebi (who is very handsome by the way, of course he has Lebanese blood), is over a decade younger than her in real life. And if Deralis was born in 1966 and died in 1992 (Age 26), how old was she when she was raped and had Ana Lucia? she must have been 14? sounds a bit unbelievable.

Analia wants revenge, she tells all these people who she really is, she travels to Dora ant Toto's neighborhood , hangs out with them, has drinks with them etc.... all freely, and not a worry about anyone seeing her? then she gets Dora to work on the campaign with her. It is a good story line but it could have been written better, and without the inconsistencies.

Great storytelling

The story kept me glued until the end, some of the scenes had me thinking "this would not happen in real life" but who cares, it was very entertaining. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the protagonists' age gap, they both did a great job, and I don't think she looks 50 years old. There are plenty of movies where the male protagonist is way older than his counterpart and I've never heard that as a criterion for criticism the movie itself.

I love the ending of all the characters, nothing overdone or cheese. I will also like to see a 2nd session, who becomes president, Pablo's bother? Although I see it as unlikely,

Nice story, very good production but main actress age is 50+ and playing a rol of a 30+ woman. This situation (old difference) make a noice diring the full film.

Great story if only the subtitles didn't appear then disappear before you've had read chance to read them! Spaniards talk fast subtitles should follow!

It goes under Her Mother's Killer on Netflix, but IMDB correction was rejected. I watched through episode 6, then quit, because it became too stupid. I mean really stupid. A woman who is seeking a revenge goes around and telling low life people aka her childhood friends, who in reality were never her friends, that she is planning to do. But I should have stopped in the very first, or second episode when the Police car exploded. People don't evaporate even in explosions. LOL
