This movie has potential. I can see this being a short film that got funding to expand and this movie is the result. It's corny at times, cohesive at others, but overall the idea is there. I just wish it would've either been longer or way shorter. Some of the shots (long takes) were really cool. The music was stellar. I didn't care too much for the characters an their dialogue. Story-wise it was kind of convoluted. And I kept thinking saying it must be a B indie film from Canada while watching it. However, it's worth an experience. I'd like to see what this writer/director does next. Hopefully they build on the themes in this movie and really iron them out. This movie is messy but not messy enough to not enjoy to some extent.
