True story of Russian aggression in Ukraine
natauamail7 September 2019
It is difficult to watch as Russian aggression is not over in Ukraine ( it's very sad that so many Ukrainians were killed by Russian military on their own Ukrainian land! It is even more disturbing that too many Ukrainian citizens are influenced by Russian paid propaganda! Maybe watching this movie will open their eyes ... The movie itself is interesting, qualitative, impressive, and touching to tears!

Great movie, sorta documentary quite close to real events

I liked it. I am IDP from Donetsk 2 guys i knew before war died in Ilovaisk. They were from Donetsk. And one of the main problem in film they don't tell many Donbass regiment soldiers, they were from Donetsk region, locals.

Except some minor inconsistencies film is great for its budget

P.S. In film they mentioned parade in Kyiv, while they were dying in Ilovaisk, i don't agree with such opinion. Parade was really important in August 2014 - Independence Day.

Maybe, one of the best films of modern Ukraine
ihorzubrytskyy28 June 2022
I wanted to watch this movie from the release date, but it was too hard for me. Now on the 124 days of the full-scale war and on the 8th year of the hidden war of russia against Ukraine, I've found the mental strength to watch it. And this film really impressed me. First of all the quality of the actors' play is high, the scenario keeps suspense till the end of the film, special effects are cool. It's a strong war movie that inspires the fight against russia and it helps to keep the memory of our heroes in ages.

the war
Kirpianuscus20 August 2022
A testimony , near more a documentary. Not only for story or for actors, parts of conflict, but for the precise perspective about the conflict . And, more important, for portraits of the characters.

It is an homage to lost fighters and a fair introduction to a war without end. To see it in 2022 , after six months from the special operation of russia against its neighbor, after Bucha and the tension near Zaporozhie has a special sense.

Because, Beshoot is not a show or pledge, but a very precious tool to understand a profound complicated situation. Not politics but ordinaries lives perturbed by war. Not winners . But gestures of kindness or hate, fury and sparkles of generosity..

POOR SCRIPT & DIRECTORIAL WORK/ AMATEUR & PRO PERFORMANCE DON'T WORK TOGETHER
kolchynskyy-dmytro19 January 2021
Script work is extremely poor due to the bad wording and unnatural language. Characters use words and phrases which are otherwise not used in everyday life. Directorial work is poor with abrupt cuts and unclear bits. The main character is an amateur actor who participated in the events. Needless to say pro- and amateur actors can't work together. It has to be either amateur or pro- casts.
