"The Great American Mud Wrestle" (nice yummy photo here on imdb!) is a pretty self-explanatory title for this 10-minute film. It's people wrestling in the mud from beginning to end and when you see something other than that, then it is a mix of interviews or just the camera going wild on location. So it is a bit of a highlight video. Honestly, I still wonder why this exists as a title here on imdb. The Youtube view count was not spectacular and there are also no great actors featured in it. But it is a video and this a motion picture and I guess this explains it. The host and also director is Hunter Ray Barker and he seems to be really enjoying himself. So would I I guess. I mean wrestling in the mud must be a lot of fun. But the relatively low rating I gave this 2018 project can be explained through the fact that while it may have been a lot of fun to be there and enjoy the wrestling, it is probably not even 10% as much fun to just watch it. So it is okay as a little fan-made picture, but as a real official movie and I guess this is what it is I just cannot see much quality in it. By the way this took place in California and we get a pretty cool rock version of California Dreamin' from beginning to end. Also initially I thought Dog Chapman (The Bounty Hunter) was in it, but apparently I was wrong and it was just an impersonator. But yeah if they only get an impersonator for somebody who isn't a big star anyway, this shows you the film's prestige. But it's alright, it's more about having a lot of fun than about getting big names to join in. And after all, Moises Arias, who played the annoying latino know-it-all kid on Hanna Montana isn't really bad at all. But yeah like I said it's noce if you're there, but you don't really need to see a best-of. So I give it a thumbs-down and I guess they understood it if this is an annual event because there is no such thing for 2019. Watch something else instead.
