This is a German 13-minute comedy short film, which tells us the unusual story of a man who loves to sleep around and finally seems to have found the right girl for him. well, two girls actually, as the way to his significant other's heart only leads through dealing with her little daughter while being stuck with one hand in the toilet bowl. The two grown-up actors in here are actually very prolific still today in film and television. The child actress is not really anymore, but also acted in a couple more projects after this was made. The writer and director is Steffen Weinert. Sadly, his career has not been booming since then. This was already his 4th short movie and afterward, he only directed one television film. "The Pick-Up Artist" is a cute and funny little story, nothing groundbreaking, but entertaining from start to finish and a good watch all in all. Recommended.

...for the lovely performance of Chantal Hourticolon. For the story of an unlucky Casanova. For the manipulative game of a girl looking for a father. For the end. And for the fine humor. Short, a lovely short film about a cage, a guy and his sentimental adventures final and a lovely girl with precise methodes.
