The premiere of last night’s episode of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc has everyone pumped for what lies ahead this season. Despite Tengen and the other Hashiras prepping the young trio for the long battle ahead with Muzan, they still have another task upon their hands- Learning how Nezuko fully embraced the sun and was left unscathed.
Nezuko conquers the demons’ weakness! | Demon Slayer
As emotional a moment this was for us all, and especially Tanjiro, many fans have often compared the weight of this scene with another prominent mark in Demon Slayer— Rengoku’s death.
The Mugen Train movie took the world by storm in more ways than one. Punching through box office records and Rengoku alike, the final minutes of the arc had us all crying with our favorite boar boy. With such a strong record, To the Hashira Training had a mountain to climb.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train was a blockbuster hit that shot the franchise into the limelight. If you were unaware of the series when it received an anime, you are bound to have heard of it after Mugen Train‘s theatrical debut.

The job of a voice actor, particularly in the anime world, is not easy. They have to go through every emotion and portray it exactly like the characters in the series. This was experienced by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado in one of the most popular anime and manga series, Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Hanae has voiced a lot of characters in the anime industry, like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach, etc. But he has earned the most recognition because of his portrayal of Tanjiro, as it is probably his best performance as of yet.

The cinematic journey of Hiroyuki Sanada and his contribution to the fusion of Western and Eastern storytelling have been nothing short of remarkable. Fresh off the heels of his presence in John Wick: Chapter 4, Sanada’s Shōgun success has been a cultural touchstone. But does this success guarantee his quick return to the producer’s chair?
Sanada is involved as a producer and cast member of the acclaimed FX limited series. With a career as dynamic as the Japanese actor’s, his keen sense of storytelling speaks volumes. Indeed, his dedication to cultural integrity and his case-by-case approach to production roles serve as a deliberate blueprint for his future endeavors in the film industry, as he enjoys shaping narratives.
Hiroyuki Sanada as Lord Yoshii Toranaga in Shōgun
But, despite his success with Shōgun, Sanada’s desire to create from scratch as a producer may not be realized in the near future.

This weekend brings a unique hybrid, a mixing of genres that has happened in the past but is somewhat rare. Perhaps it’s because one of the genres is the sports movie, more specifically tennis. Yes, there have been a couple of prominent films within the last couple of years, though they were “inspired by true stories”, mainly the Oscar-winning King Richard and the humorous, but “for reals”, Battle Of The Sexes. This new flick is pure fiction, though gleaned from recent players, and it’s also (the other genre) a dramatic love story. Oh, and this is the big selling point for the studio, it’s a true “love triangle”, as two male tennis “hotshots” share a passion for the game and the same woman. So, in the sport and the romance, these two are truly motivated Challengers.

All aboard! The Pain Train is leaving the station, and you want to avoid getting stuck riding coach! Lionsgate is giving action fans something to crow about today with the debut of the brutal Kill trailer. Described as India’s goriest and most intensely violent film, Kill is like David Leitch’s Bullet Train on steroids, if those steroids were taking steroids!
Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directs Kill from a script he wrote with Ayesha Syed. The plot revolves around a passenger on a train to New Delhi. The train soon becomes a combat battleground as a pair of commandos face an army of invading bandits. What was supposed to be a leisurely trek turns into a claustrophobic bloodbath, with death and destruction filling every car along a fast-moving train.

Twitch is putting Pirate Software‘s latest Hype Train record in the digital history books with a permanent emote.
For those who don’t know, Hype Trains kick off on Twitch when viewers of a stream start mass-supporting the streamer by doing things like subscribing or gifting subscriptions and sending Bits. Viewers who start a Hype Train or keep one going can earn exclusive reward emotes.
Pirate Software previously set the bar for longest Hype Train in December 2023, wrapping it up with a total of 7,321 subscriptions and over 1.8 million Bits–or around $60,000 worth of support.
Now, just a week after Twitch introduced new, higher goals to the Hype Train system, he’s demolished his own record: His latest train raked in 54,380 subs and more than 8.2 million Bits in three hours.
How much was that in dollars? Reporter Zach Bussey has theorized that a Level 100 Hype Train would take roughly $500,000 of subs and Bits.

There's an entire generation of movie lovers who first encountered Jackie Chan in the "Rush Hour" films. The actor, director and stuntsman didn't have a huge love for the franchise at the time, perhaps because they barely scratched the surface of what he was capable of as a choreographer. Still, his buddy cop films hold a special place in the hearts of countless action fans, and his rapport with co-star Chris Tucker isn't half bad, either.
The "Rush Hour" trilogy hasn't aged the best in the intervening years, thanks in part to its director, Brett Ratner, who was accused of sexual misconduct in 2017. The film's "East meets West" humor would also never fly today, making the franchise something of a time capsule for irreverent, 2000s humor. Still, we could never get enough of Chan and Tucker — that's why we're all still holding out for that potential "Rush Hour 4." While...

Whether it’s comedy, romance, action, or presenting a more serious character, actress Sandra Bullock has demonstrated her versatility across various genres. With Daniel Craig’s exit as James Bond, Eon Productions has been on the lookout for the next British actor to play Agent 007. While the former Superman, Henry Cavill, is a fan favorite, recent reports indicated that Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson was offered the role by the studio and that he was expected to take up the offer and announce soon.
However, the rumor has not been confirmed by the actor or the production house, leading fans to bash the outlet that broke the news. Taylor-Johnson’s apparent confirmation as James Bond led to many fans being dejected by Cavill’s loss, but the campaign seems to be on full steam now that the news has been unconfirmed.

The original Parasyte manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki is considered to be a seinen classic. The series about an invasion of strange alien parasites became a hit with readers around the world, and the subsequent anime adaptation also became a major hit, being lauded as one of the best seinen anime in history. And while we saw a two-part live-action movie adaptation of the series, Netflix has – as we know – decided to take the live-action aspect to another level with Parasyte: The Grey, with the series just releasing its first full trailer.
Parasyte: The Grey is an upcoming South Korean adaptation of Iwaaki’s manga, which is going to be set in Soul and will retell the story of the manga from a different perspective. It is unknown whether this is actually a canon spin-off or just a different take on the story, but it certainly has us excited. As we’ve said,...

After Daniel Craig’s departure from the role in No Time to Die, the James Bond franchise has been in search of Craig’s successor in the role. An announcement has yet to be made officially, but as you probably know, many names have been put forward over the years, including but not limited to Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland(???), a female star. And while we have not listed his name here intentionally, there is also one other actor who has been tied to the role, and if the reports by the British tabloid The Sun are correct, it seems that we actually have found the next James Bond – Aaron Taylor-Johnson!
Taylor-Johnson has been one of the frontrunners for the role, and his name has often been mentioned alongside Cavill’s and Elba’s, as the three of them were the three most-often named candidates. Now, we...

While it’s hard to top Tom Cruise in the stunt department, his Interview with the Vampire costar isn’t too far behind in terms of respect in the stunt community. Even though most don’t associate Oscar-winner Brad Pitt with death-defying stunts, the actor bears huge respect for stunt performers and even helped his Flight Club stunt double to rise the ranks.

Louis Armstrong arrived in the Congolese capital, Leopoldville (now known as Kinshasa), on October 28, 1960, armed with his trumpet and wiping sweat from his brow. His visit was part of a U.S. State Department-sponsored tour of Africa, an arrangement Armstrong felt ambivalent about. Still, the Congolese people gave Satchmo, as the American jazz trumpeter was known, a near royal welcome. Drummers and dancers carried him to his performance venue on a red chair, fashioned like a throne. Civilians cheered him on. Ten thousand people showed up to watch him play.
This was a momentous occasion, a storied event for the newly independent republic of the Congo. Four months before Armstrong came to play jazz, the country had freed itself from the colonial grip of Belgium to become one of the more than dozen postcolonial African nations formed in 1960. 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the events of the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the 20th anniversary of the release of the remake, and also the tenth anniversary of an entry in the franchise that has less fans than those two just mentioned: Texas Chainsaw 3D (watch it Here). Recently, our friends at Bloody Disgusting sat down for an interview with one of the film’s writers, Adam Marcus, and during their chat Marcus revealed that the movie lost its cannibalism due to the box office failure of The Midnight Meat Train and lost a couple massacres due to the lower-than-expected budget.
Directed by John Luessenhop and sporting a story credited to Stephen Susco, Adam Marcus, and Debra Sullivan, and a screenplay by Marcus, Sullivan, and Kirsten Elms, Texas Chainsaw 3D has the following synopsis: Decades ago, residents of Newt, Texas, long suspected that the Sawyer family was responsible for the disappearances of many people.

Sandra Bullock partially made her career off of action films like Speed and Demolition Man. Although the genre treated her well enough, she wasn’t always sure if it was designed for female actors to thrive in.
Sandra Bullock felt action films did women a disservice in the 2000s Sandra Bullock | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Bullock believed the action genre became even less accommodating to female actors as time went on. Ironically, she herself experienced her breakthrough role opposite Keanu Reeves in Speed. This led to a bit of a career winning streak for Bullock that saw the Oscar-winner return to the genre a couple of times.
In 2002, she starred in the darker action thriller Murder by Numbers. Perhaps what intrigued her the most about the feature was the character she ended up playing. She felt the role was a callback to characters from another time that all but vanished in the new millennium.

In 2002, she starred in the darker action thriller Murder by Numbers. Perhaps what intrigued her the most about the feature was the character she ended up playing. She felt the role was a callback to characters from another time that all but vanished in the new millennium.

Season 18 of Sister Wives will be best known as the season where Kody Brown really showed his horns as a villain, Robyn Brown remained victimized, Janelle Brown came into her own, Meri Brown saw the writing on the wall, and Christine Brown created a new life outside of her polygamist family unit. But even with all those changes, season 18 was an absolute snoozefest. Sister Wives fans want the season-ending tell-all to dig deeper than ever before. Here are the questions they want answers to.
‘Sister Wives’ fans want tough questions, not softball shots
In a Reddit post on a page dedicated to Sister Wives, fans revealed they were tired of the yearly tell-alls dancing around tough topics within the Brown family. They want the truth and real answers instead of softball shots.

With all the talk of super-hero fatigue, it’s interesting to note that we never talk about espionage fatigue despite the steady stream of spies from a variety of franchises. One of the oldest and long-running series is, of course, Mission: Impossible. Once a lauded television series, it transitioned to film in 1996 and somehow, 27 years later, it’s still chugging along, in some ways invigorated with new life.
Led by the once-ageless Tom Cruise, he remains the fittest sixty-something actor in the world, continuing to do his own stunts and working with his personal guru Christopher McQuarrie, who returned for the newest offering, Dead-Reckoning Part One, out now from Paramount Home Entertainment.
The filming was originally intended to shoot back-to-back with the film’s released a year apart. Then came Covid-19 and now the Sga strike so those plans got scuttled. That said, their threat, Artificial Intelligence, has proven increasingly timely with every passing month.

In a surprising twist during the latest Sister Wives episode, Kody Brown revealed that he no longer speaks to daughter Maddie Brush. This admission came after Kody maintained that his breakup with Christine Brown led to the dissolution of the relationships with many of his older children. However, Maddie’s mom, Janelle Brown, revealed why Kody and his daughter don’t speak.
Kody Brown blames Covid for why he doesn’t speak to his daughter Maddie Brush
During a confessional for the season 18 episode titled “Airing the Dirty Laundry,” Sister Wives star Kody Brown discussed his relationship with daughter Maddie Brush. Maddie is the second of Kody’s six children with a second wife, Janelle Brown. Her siblings are Logan, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah.
“I do not know what happened. But during the breakup with Christine, Maddie stopped reaching out to me,” Kody claims, flipping the blame toward his daughter.

This Star Trek: Lower Decks article contains spoilers.
Okay, leaving aside the super-racist episode “Code of Honor,” we’re all agreed that “Shades of Gray” is the low point of Star Trek: The Next Generation, right? Sure, there’s still “Masks” and “Rascals” and I get why people don’t like “Sub Rosa” (I said what I said), but “Shades of Gray” is hardly an episode. Riker gets an alien infection, Dr. Pulaski sticks a doo-hickey on his head, and then he… rewatches highlights from the first two seasons. And that’s because “Shades of Gray” is that most dreaded product of 1980s syndicated television: a clip show.
Fortunately, clip shows have become a relic of the pop culture past rendered unnecessary in our always-on digital age. But Lower Decks never forgets, so it’s no surprise that the series would do its own version of a clip show. And...

John Frankenheimer’s The Train opens with a heist of masterpieces of modern art from a Parisian museum. The operation, supervised by Wehrmacht colonel and aristocratic aesthete Franz Von Waldheim (Paul Scofield), is a desperate assertion of the Nazis’ supremacist ideologies during the final days of the German occupation of France. As such, it’s easy to perceive the museum curator’s (Suzanne Flon) appeals to the sense of national pride felt by the Résistance-Fer—a group of rail workers who were part of the French Resistance—as an attempt to fight fire with fire, specifically when she requests help from railway manager Labiche (Burt Lancaster). Which makes it all the more fitting that it’s not Labiche who jumpstarts the workers’ efforts to stop the train that’s moving the stolen paintings from leaving France, but tenacious train conductor Papa Boule, who’s played with curmudgeonly brio by one...

As Aerosmith get ready to embark on a farewell tour, it’s no secret that guitarist Joe Perry and singer Steven Tyler have had their share of discord over the years. Such was the case around 2009, when Perry was seeking out a potential replacement for the band’s iconic vocalist.
In a new interview with The Dave Rickards Podcast, singer Chris Daughtry revealed that he was one of the candidates that Perry approached to take over for Tyler, who at the time entered rehab for painkillers and then emerged to become a judge on American Idol.
Frustrated with the lack of Aerosmith activity, Perry sought out possible replacements for Tyler. Over the years, it has been reported that Perry may have reached out to such singers as Sammy Hagar, Chris Cornell, Paul Rodgers, and Billy Idol.

John Lennon considered Bob Dylan one of his musical influences. Lennon adapted a more introspective approach to songwriting and often cited Dylan as someone he wanted to emulate. Unfortunately, that admiration soured over time, and the two did exchange a few insults. Here are three times Dylan and Lennon threw insults at each other.
John Lennon called one of Bob Dylan’s albums ‘pathetic’ John Lennon | Harry Benson/Express/Getty Images
Bob Dylan was raised in a Jewish household but never expressed many religious themes in his music. In 1979, he became a born-again Christian, baffling many of his fans who were unaware of his religious views. These themes were first expressed in 1979’s Slow Train Coming.
Around that time, John Lennon recorded a long monologue discussing the state of the industry and Bob Dylan’s latest work. He called his latest music “pathetic” and dissed Dylan’s instrumentals and lyrics.

This article contains spoilers from the Demon Slayer manga.
Now that Demon Slayer has slashed its way through two seasons, the trailer for season 3 is giving us a preview of some pretty sick moves and even sicker demons.
Gotoge Koyoharu’s manga, which was adapted by Ufotable, has already leapt off the page and into fantastic swordfighting action that will only level up as more demons are unleashed. The Swordsmith Village arc that will be featured this season isn’t nearly as tame as it sounds. This village is teeming with demons, and not just any demons, but the dreaded Twelve Kizuki that make up the upper ranks of Kibutsuji’s army. If it is anything like the manga, it will also be the season Inosuke shows more of his actual face than ever.
Season 3 premieres on Crunchyroll April 9. Grab your sword and get ready to face off against some terrifying forces of evil.

Atlanta nu-metal band Silly Goose are known for playing peculiar spaces. Forget venues: You’d be more likely to find the rap rockers playing on the sidewalk outside the venue. One such stunt got them on the bill for the Inkcarceration Festival last year after they played a set in the parking lot.
For their latest unconventional venue, Silly Goose played a pop-up show inside of a Subway restaurant. “Pov you are trying to order at Subway and this is happening,” reads the caption for the video on the band’s Instagram account.
Chaotic Limp Bizkit-style nu-metal blares through the shop as a customer patiently waits for his sandwich. Meanwhile, the Subway “sandwich artist” appears unfazed by the sheer decibels emanating from the band, nonchalantly placing toppings on the bread.

Mr. Big have announced a farewell tour, taking place in 2023 and 2024. As of now the veteran rock band has unveiled dates for a run of Asia this summer, with US, European, and South American shows slated to be revealed for 2024.
The tour, dubbed “The Big Finish,” will find Mr. Big playing its 1991 album Lean Into It in its entirety. The LP yielded the band’s smash ballad “To Be With You,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In a press release, Mr. Big said that it’s the right to time to end their touring career following the passing of drummer Pat Torpey, who died in 2018 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. The band also revealed that Nick D’Virgilio will fill Torpey’s slot behind the drum kit.
“We wanted to do a proper farewell, and this seems like the right way to do it,” stated bassist Billy Sheehan.

Gunsmoke was one of the most popular television shows ever to hit the air. The network, CBS, knew what it had on its hands after its 1955 premiere and milked it for 20 seasons before suddenly canceling it in 1975. The Western genre later died off, as its wave of popularity never quite returned to form. Here’s a list of five other vintage television shows to dig into if Gunsmoke was your jam.

Netflix viewers have drawn uncanny parallels between a recent film and the chemical spill that took place in Ohio earlier this month.
On 3 Febuary, a 50-car train derailment in the small town of East Palestine caused a leak of chemicals including vinyl chloride, butyl acrylate, ethylhexyl acrylate, and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether.
More than 2,000 residents were ordered to evacuate nearby buildings due to health concerns over the leak but have since been allowed to return.
White Noise, starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig, was released on the Netflix late last year.
Adapted from the acclaimed 1985 novel by American writer Don DeLillo, the film follows a death-obsessed academic (Driver), and his family.
One of the biggest plot points in both the book and film concerns a train crash which release a huge cloud of toxic chemicals into the air, referred to somewhat euphemistically as the Airbourne Toxic Event.

After “Plane” took off at theaters this January, a followup film is already hitting the high seas. “Ship,” a sequel to the Gerard Butler thriller, is set to begin production later this year, Variety reports.
As the title suggests, “Ship” will be set on a boat, and focuses on Mike Colter’s character from the original “Plane,” fugitive and homicide suspect Louis Gaspare. It’s unclear if Butler, who led “Plane” as commercial pilot Brodie Torrance, will return to the project, either in a supporting role or a cameo appearance, but original director Jean-François Richet will be back as an executive producer.
In the original “Plane,” Gaspare was one of the passengers on Flight 119, a standard international trip that turned into a disaster after a storm causes major aircraft damage, forcing Torrance to land in the rebel-controlled Philippine island Jojo. The film saw the two men team up to save...

Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film "Moulin Rouge" can be described in a lot of ways: romantic, tragic, and spectacular are certainly words that apply to the final piece of the filmmaker's Red Curtain Trilogy. It can also be classified as a jukebox musical, historical fiction, and (probably in more than a few cases) a sexual awakening. But to put it more simply, the movie is a mash-up.
This description works on many levels. Musically, it takes multiple popular songs from Nirvana, Madonna, The Beatles, Dolly Parton, and Elton John, then blends them into medleys and remixes to fit the narrative of the story. The soundtrack as a whole also blends these hit songs with original music that has become just as memorable over the past few decades since the feature film's debut.
Thematically, Luhrmann took inspiration from many corners of the entertainment world. During the writing process, he borrowed from extravagant movie musicals,...
