Well done to mother's child for it's massive win at Cannes film festival well done to Lee WESTWICK for starring in this multi award winning film. Lee's scene in the film was the best it was much better then any other actors in the film Lee is better looking then all the other actors including Clarke tribe and swazee Lukenane and Daniel Eghan surely the scene with Eghan could have been longer to be honest but the film was great because lees scene is so good . Lee had to deal with a lot of fans wanting his autograph because when this film went to LA he was told he was the next Leo DiCaprio and no one else in the film was as good as Lee as Lee had highlighted hair and played the role so well I really like Lee's acting in this Oscar worthy Hollywood blockbuster. Lee Lee Lee we want to see you in more films mate.

I love the scene with Wendy Bowes as bar maid. I didn't like the lead actor Sarah Amanda as she can't act to save her life luckily the people in her scenes could act to a perfect level which helps her and her lips.

Love the story of mother's child I want to marry Lee WESTWICK .

A MUST SEE FILM

Swaylee Loughnane brings a wonderful and delightful character to life ( John Barrett ) The story is original and exciting with great locations including Miami Florida and Spain some great scenes with Swaylee that touch your heart stings, Such an handsome and adorable character that goes through some lovely times and then meets a wonderful American lady.

It was so great to see Swaylee's real life daughter Sianah in her big screen debut in the park scene.

Swaylee did a splendid job at directing and casting and editing this little gem and cinematic masterpiece.

Beautiful songs and a great cast of well known faces including Big Joe Eghan and Alex Reid , no wonder this film went on to be nominated for so many awards worldwide and swaylee took home a best director award at Cannes.

Really not surprised the guy is a genius of film making the British Steven Spielberg only much better looking with a better body.

I would highly recommend everyone see's this film. If for no other reason - Swaylee is shirt less in it and showing off his six pack - those lucky woman that got to share the screen with this acting icon.

Enjoyed so much and it was so delightful and delicious with an original never before done story.

Cannes

I'm happy to see this was at Cannes film festival and won many awards worldwide it DESERVES TOO!!! Swaylee did an absolutely amazing job at directing this excellent motion picture it has an impressive soundtrack and superb story that HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE !!! Excellent work by all in this super master full film . I love the cast and love the ending of this film the twist was so different I love it so much in deed. Super film super cast super award winning team behind this excellent film. Minouche did a great job on the soundtrack. Paul did a great job writing this film also.

I'm not sure why this has so many positive reviews. I rented this on Amazon not so long ago and I really didn't enjoy any of this. Mother's Child, a feature film directed by Swaylee Loughnane delivers a painstaking journey through the eyes of a jack-the-lad player who is completed unlikable and unredeemable. No character is decent that you want to spend time watching them. They're all dirt bags who just want to live their own selfish lives despite the many mistakes they make and will continue to do so. I do not recommend this film to anybody who has a pulse. It beggars believe that this film could get good reception.

Mother's Child is an interesting, thought-provoking movie. It contains great acting from the main characters especially. Mother's Child has an original story-line and it is very moving. I would recommend this film to anyone! I like how down-to-Earth and realistic the characters and the plot are and I like the way it has been filmed. I also liked how the subject matter challenges its viewers. You get very emotionally involved in the story and captured by the suffering of the characters. Mother's Child has important themes that capture the audience. If you're looking for an interesting movie, go and watch this film!!

At the start this movie seems like it will flow and be a nice smooth calm movie, however it exceeded my expectations beyond. The movie turned in to such a powerful and emotional rollercoaster.

I love the scene in Joe's place in the Mercury mall it was fantastic it was lovely to see such a fantastic scene in the movie. It was played so well by the actors involved also how wonderful that this film went to the Cannes film festival what a great achievement for the filmmakers. Lovely shots of Romford in this awesome film my home town never looked so good it's such a great town with great people including the guy who runs the Romford film festival it was great seeing that this film did so well at the festival and went on to sell over 10 million DVDs and Blu rays at Amazon and wallmart and HMV and Tesco and Asda Swaylee really is a genius and a legend. He is the king of filmmaking in Romford Essex as no other film made there has ever done so well around the world.

Swaylee has done an incredible job here to his credit. In both the direction and acting this has been carried out incredibly well. Thought encouraging scenes play out with regularity, every character has their place and a clear role to play in the story being told about adoption and family separation.

Deals with real life issues in confident and connecting style. The impressive talent of the up and coming actors in this film shines through in many moments. Considering the lower budget end it has a close to Hollywood feeling, all credit to the cast, crew and writers. Worth watching many times over!

Award winning film

This award winning film is wonderful, Tony Williams's played his role to perfection so did swaylee and big Joe Egan . It was a pleasure to watch it really was. Lovely to see the wonderful reviews on Amazon regards this award winner.

Swaylee has gone on to do so much which I love to see. He has won several awards for his great work.

The story begins with such a good meet up and exclent twist at the end . It's wonder to see such wonderful award winning actors such as Clarke tribe in this film and Sammy Simmans a whole cast of winners in the film. For an independent film it really feels like a Hollywood production. Not bad for just a £250k movie it looks like it has a 20 million budget and to be honest I like it better then new marvel movie. Cool cool cool.

Keep up the amazing work swaylee so pleased he won a best director award for his work on this little gem.

Loughnane as the star firstly

Amazing job at playing the role express many different emotions on screen with a wide range of screen presence he is a talent that's for sure.

Excellent , this well directed film is so nice it's like a reality TV series with a feel like that so he is a genius in my book.

Story -

Original and different never before has it been done so again genius pure genius amazing reviews amazing cast amazing locations amazing songs smashing it on prime video and on dvd and Blu Ray unbelievable really as this was such a small £250 k budget so well done mate your a star.

LEGENDARY CAST

What a cast oh my gosh what a great cast of talent all in one hot movie!! I've started to follow these guys careers and my gosh how impressed am I !! I first met Sway at Lamda back when he was a student banging out my distinction after the other and now look this wonderful chap has gone on to have DVDs sitting in stores like wal mart in USA Canada and Australia Ireland and Japan it's unbelievable I neeeded to see what all the fuss was about so I watched this film finally and I can honestly see what the fuss was about it's so cool.

Sway takes us the audience on a journey through 80s Essex and has ups and downs along the way.

Would highly recommend this film all day long.

LEGENDARY FILM

What a film I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through I don't think I've ever seen a film like it , love the huge part Joe played in it and Dave boy as an ex gangster myself it's nice to see gangsters in this film playing roles in a drama for a change .

Clarkey did a lovely job as the cheeky chappie and Sarah smashed it as lead actress in her role as Mandy this woman is a future Oscar winner I could not take my eyes off her.

Lovely to see Paul acting in it and Christian Davidson editing what a great team of talent all of them legends in the film game it's a top film.

At what time in a persons life does a film like this come along ....................... not often

That's the answer at what time in a persons life does a film relate so much to me .........

Not often that's how many I am basically Mandy as I can relate to her so well she is a genius god bless her the actor playing the role should win an Oscar as it made me cry the scenes are so touching and I love all the story as a whole it's a good film with meaning and the writer did such a grand job I can't help falling in love with this film and it is my favourite of all time and Mandy is my favourite actress of all time tooX.

Mother's Child is very much a film of these times. People trying to find their own identity in a world that seems to be continually throwing insurmountable obstacles at them! Tough, uncompromising characters are played believably by the cast! Swaylee Loughnane is brilliant in the lead role and also admirably directs the film as well. I also loved seeing all the fantastic London and Essex location work.

Swaylee did it, a compelling film.

Swaylee is an excellent actor and director

What a man Swaylee is to Act and direct this excellent feature film.

The drone shots, the locations, the musical score all wonderful. A massive cast of the best British talent around and lovely scenes in the Mercury mall in Essex.

Romford has been put on the map thanks to the worldwide success of Mother's Child now a yearly fixture on most people's calendar on Mother's Day. My own mother loves it. What a powerful performance by lead actress Sarah Amanda Haugh in her feature film debut and what can I say about Swaylee? Handsome and a pleasure to watch him.

Lovely co stars like Clarke Tribe and Sammy Simmans who played their roles brilliantly too.

Swaylee really pulled off something great with this film. It has done so well around the world and I'm really not surprised as it's a really great watch.

Nice performance by Paul Gardner, the park scene being my favourite scene. I also love the scenes in Swaylee's montage as it's like watching one of those 80's classics. It made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. A compelling film.

I'm really not surprised this film won so many awards as it's got such an original story that takes the audience on a magical journey with normal indie Brit flicks it really is the same old garbage like moody gangsters lol or cheap horror nonsense never is it something original that's what makes this movie so special it is ORIGINAL!!!

Swaylee did an amazing job at casting some big names in this too to add to the glamour, again something that is lacking in other indie Brit flicks. I really do love this film. The end is amazing I really advice people to spend there money and rent this film.

I have scored this 7/10 as I never do 10/10 this is a perfect 7.

Mac Gabriel has done some great work too.

Really well-done guys you are superstars.

Mother of all Indie Movies

This film is the mother of all indie movies it's excellent to watch. Can't believe how many excellent reviews are on Amazon four and a half stars that says it all really doesn't it.

Multi award winning actors in cast like Mr Swaylee just watched this bodybuilders YouTube channel wow what a guy he is . Is there anything he can't do.

This film was number 1 independent film on IMDb in 2020 and it should have been. It has the best soundtrack I've heard in years the best lead actor and director and it's so original unlike the plastic gangster rubbish you see from wanna be's lol

Same ole same ole "I'm a hard nut " nice to see big names in this too like Joe and Dave. They obviously read a great script and jumped on board who could blame them.

My honest opinion is after ages , I finally saw a film like this which was unique, different and interesting. The locations and views were lovely . Hence with the budget of £250k , it was worth it . As for the characters in the film , I feel John was the back bone of the storyline. The direction of the scenes were interesting as well . It is an average film to watch. The actor playing the work mate could have been better and also the lead actress could have acted much better .I wish the lead roles were chosen better . Nevertheless it is an okay film which I feel deserves to be rated 5 only xxxx.
