- Snake Dick is a neo-noir short film by writer and director David Mahmoudieh.
It's a story about two young women driving towards a burning city, when their old convertible car breaks down in the middle of nowhere at a sketchy gas station.
As they pop the hood to inspect and hopefully repair their car, they are immediately hounded by two hillbillies standing by the gas station entrance who just don't know when to shut up. As all men do, the hillbillies think they have the upper hand with their snarls and sexist remarks as the girls ignore them while continuing to assess their car. Jill asks her friend Julia to grab some tools from the trunk.
The men continue to be rude, ignorant and sexist towards the girls. Jill has finally had enough and steps away from her car, walks towards the men, and stops halfway. She asks him to repeat his comment. As one of the men who was doing most of the taunting approaches the girls, he continues to taunt her. Jill suddenly pulls out a gun from her back and makes the hillbilly get on his knees and embarrass himself by making pig sounds. But when the other hillbilly gets agitated with the degrading of his friend, he pulls out a knife and is confident Jill won't do anything before he stabs her and begins to approach them.
Her friend Julia quickly opens the car's trunk and pulls out a flute. As she begins to play, the tables are quickly turned - quite weirdly and yet satisfyingly, when all of a sudden, a snake begins to creep out from between the legs of Jill's mini-skirt and attacks the male.
Driving into the sunrise afterwards one of the girls narrates how the girls need each other to use the snake (the snake lives in Jill but can only be released when Julia plays the flute).
After the credits we see the terrified hillbilly they let live checking on his lifeless friend. Realizing he is dead he starts screaming and runs off and disappears into the darkness.
