The episode picks up after the last one....with Doc Martin attending the first class he's been forced to attend in order to keep his license. It's a phlebotomy class and considering his phobia about blood, it seems pretty appropriate. Additional problems dealt with in this one is Louisa's compulsive worries about the adjustment of her son, a woman who insists Doc gives her a clean bill of health and ignores his insisting she see him for treatment as well as an odd case where a man's refusal to shave his beard has dire consequences.
This episode is not a particularly memorable one...more just a typical episode from the series. This is NOT a bad thing, as a typical episode is still quite enjoyable. Worth seeing.
