The Ghost of Plankton/My Two Krabses

In summary: There's nothing actively bad here, but nothing to move the needle towards the "good" direction either.

The Ghost of Plankton

While I wasn't the biggest fan of Plankton's plan, it's the arrival of the Flying Dutchman that stole the show for me. His scariness combined with zaniness makes for the best watching experience I had from SpongeBob in a long time. Then again, anytime the Dutchman appears makes an episode 1,403,210 times better. The Dutchman helping Plankton then possessing his body is so enjoyable, I wanted to bring out popcorn and hope this would go on for more than 11 minutes. Plus, he's the reason why I say "bye" the way I do and that jumps are at the very end gets me every time!

My Two Krabses

This episode did have a weak middle, but the beginning and ending were great. I loved how Mr. Krabs had to deal with body issues after his shell gets swiped and that fun rhyme Pearl's cheerleading friends was burned into my head in memorability and relatability. I mean, no girl wants to see her dad named I front of her friends. But the best part of the whole episode was that Squidward not only got some well-earned revenge on Mr. Krabs, but he doesn't even suffer Squidward torture as a result of him trying to have fun! That's even more rare than Plankton successfully stealing the formula!

7.5/10.

This show is terrible for kids. I watched this with my four year old son and was shocked by the violence and language. Don't let your kid watch this!

How long do they plan to keep this show up?! They should've run out of ideas by now!!!

I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone, specially to young children. The show is full of violence and idiocy. Not funny at all (at least not what they are showing in 2018). It is so absurd that it's impossible to explain to a child. It is literally Junk for the mind.
