Still I am not a sumo fan. However i like this anime and characters. Although there are a lot of clishes and plot is predictable, i had fun a lot and Hinamaru sparked me too.

if you want relaxing and having good time, you van watch.

Fun Anime With Unique Story

While it's obviously not a true reflection of sumo (the wrestlers look like very muscular bodybuilders, not fat sumo wrestlers), it's a fun look into the life of high school sumo through rose colored glasses. It's cheesy, predictable, and kinda derivative... but it's fun to watch if you are a sumo fan.

It simplifies a bit, but at the same time it advertises Sumo perfectly.
