The blood donating cliche

I am fed up of the blood donating cliche. How many times I have seen this, enemies turn friends when one of them donates his Blood to other in need. It's getting so predictable now.
I didn't hate this movie. I like the set up for brothers' rivalry. I have seen other Punjabi films on same subject, Rabb da Radio 2 among others. This one is way way better than them. But the second half is so poorly written, cliche ridden, impractical that I cannot give a good rating for it. And why Sippy Gill and Dilpreet Dhillon are in lead roles. Is whole Punjab short of real actors. We need professional actors and not singers turned actors if we are to improve the quality of our cinema.
